- ※ 日本語表記のインターネットサイトや通信販売などであっても、外貨でのお取引となる場合があります。
- ※ 当該外貨取扱手数料につきましては、American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc .もしくはその関連会社の収益となります。

- ※ 円換算は当社におけるカード利用代金等の処理日に行われ、実際のカード利用日と異なることがあります。
- ※ カード利用代金等が米ドル以外の外貨建てで生じた場合には、一旦米ドルに換算後これを円換算します。（ただし、外貨取扱手数料は米ドルから円に換算する際に1度だけ発生します。）また、カード利用代金等が米ドル建てで生じた場合には、直接円換算します。
- ※ 法令により特定の換算レートの適用が義務付けられている場合、または協定もしくは現地の慣例により当該カード利用代金等に関して特定の換算レートが使用される場合を除き、換算日の前営業日における主要な外国為替相場情報から選択した銀行間レートを基に、外貨取扱手数料を加えた換算レートを使用します。
- ※ カード利用代金等が当社に提出される前に第三者により換算される場合、適用される換算レートは当該第三者が決定します。
- ※ 外貨でのカード利用を取り消した場合は、当社での取消処理日を換算日とします。

- * Transactions may be conducted in a foreign currency even when a website or mail order service is displayed in Japanese.
- * The foreign currency handling fee is earned by American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. and/or its affiliate(s).

Charge Example
The foreign currency handling fee and total charge amount for a 100 U.S. dollar foreign currency transaction will be as follows*.
- * Based on an exchange rate of 150 Japanese yen to 1 U.S. dollar, converting to a spend of 15,000 Japanese yen

Foreign currency handling fee amount: 525 Japanese yen (total charge: 15,525 Japanese yen)
The foreign currency handling fee and total charge amount for a 100 U.S. dollar foreign currency transaction will be as follows*.

- * Japanese yen conversions are made on the processing date of credit card charges, etc., and may differ from the actual date of credit card use.
- * In the event that the Card transaction charges are denominated in a foreign currency other than U.S. dollars, they will first be converted to U.S. dollars and then converted to Japanese yen (however, the foreign currency handling fee is only applied once, on the conversion from U.S. dollars to Japanese yen). If the Card transaction charges are denominated in U.S. dollars, they will be converted directly into yen.
- * Unless a specific conversion rate is mandated by law or determined by agreements or local practices, the Japanese yen conversion is conducted using an interbank rate selected from major foreign exchange rates on the business day prior to the conversion date, with our foreign currency handling fee added
- * If a third party converts the card usage amount before submission to American Express, the applicable conversion rate is determined by the third party.
- * In the event that a Card transaction in a foreign currency is cancelled, the date of conversion will be the date the cancellation is processed by American Express.
