6. All local and international retail, installment, online, and Mail Order/ Telephone Order (MO/TO) transactions are qualified.
7. The following transactions are excluded from the Promotion:
a. Local/International Cash Advances made via ATM or over-the-counter
b. Any type of Bills Payment (Auto-charge, Charge-On-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, etc.)

8. For installment purchases, the principal/full purchase amount shall be included in the computation of qualified spend.
9. The bonus Asia Miles earned by either the Basic or Supplementary Cardmember will be credited to the Basic Cardmember’s Asia Miles membership account.
10. A Cardmember can only be credited once throughout the duration of the Promotion, regardless if the spend is over and beyond the minimum spend requirement or if Cardmember has more than one (1) approved Card. Once applied for miles crediting, cancellations are not allowed.
In case the Cardmember is found by BDO to have made more than one (1) redemption, submitted incomplete or invalid requirements, redeemed using fraudulent schemes, presenting charge slips used to redeem in other BDO promos, or cancels any or all of the qualifying purchases, BDO reserves the right to reverse the bonus Asia Miles credited.

13. The Cardmember’s Card must be active and in good credit standing at the time of redemption.
14. The Asia Miles earned in this promotion have no monetary value and are not convertible to cash and non-transferable.

16. In case of dispute pertaining, but not limited to, the Cardmember's eligibility, coverage of dates, transaction qualification, fulfillment, etc., BDO's decision will prevail. Redemption Process Upon Meeting the Spend Requirement:
1. Upon reaching the required spend, the Cardmember must visit bit.ly/CXAX19reg and must completely fill out and submit the online web registration form within the registration period. (Incomplete information will not be processed)
2. For registrations with incomplete and incorrect information, an SMS notification will be sent to the Cardmember to inform him/her regarding the status of validation. Upon receipt of the SMS notification, the Cardmember must re-submit the online web registration form within the registration period. Thus, the Cardmember must ensure that the contact details provided in the redemption form are accurate. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of notification due to incorrect contact details.
3. An SMS notification shall be sent to qualified Cardmembers at their registered mobile number confirming their qualification and the corresponding number of miles to be credited to their Asia Miles account.
4. Earned bonus Asia Miles will be credited to Cardmembers' Asia Miles account on or before June 30, 2020.
5. Cancellation of a redemption is not allowed once the redemption has been processed. The redemption shall be deemed as permanent.
6. Transactions and the corresponding charge slips, if any, registered and submitted by the Cardmember in the BDO web registraion, and subsequently identified by BDO as qualified to meet the required spend will automatically be tagged as redeemed and can no longer be used to redeem any reward in any BDO Credit Card promotion.

3. All travel-related transactions are qualified for the promotion. Travel-related is defined as local, international, and online purchases posted under airline (i.e. business class airlines, passenger airlines, and low cost carriers), lodging ( i.e. hotels and resorts) and travel-related ( i.e. cruise lines, car rental, travel agencies etc.).

BDO has the sole discretion to determine whether a transaction is classified as airline, lodging and/or travel-related. BDO is dependent on the Merchant Category Classifications assigned by its Acquiring Bank on each merchant establishment to be able to identify qualified transactions.

4. A minimum of Php 250,000 total accumulated travel-related spend with a minimum spend requirement of Php 3,000 per transaction by the Basic or the Supplementary cardmember/s within the promotion period is required to qualify.

The Basic Credit card account is treated as separate from the Supplementary Credit Card account. Thus, the Basic and Supplementary Cardmember/s are not allowed to combine their purchases to qualify for the promotion.

For Cardmembers enrolled in Dual Currency Feature, PHP and USD transactions will be combined and the prevailing exchange rate upon the extract of qualified transactions will be used. Minimum spend and maximum Membership Rewards® Points or Asia Miles is based on total accumulated spend in both currencies.

The Basic Credit Card account is treated as separate from the Supplementary Credit Card account. Thus, both the Basic and Supplementary Cardmember/s are required to register to qualify for the promotion. As such, registration of the Basic Cardmember does not equate to the registration of the Supplementary Cardmember/s, and vice versa.

9. Earning and crediting of Bonus Membership Rewards® Points or Asia Miles:

Once a Basic or Supplementary Cardmember reaches the 50,000 Bonus Points or Miles limit, his/her subsequent transactions will still earn the Regular Points or Miles, but shall no longer earn the Bonus Membership Rewards® Points or Bonus Asia Miles.

The total Bonus Points or Miles accumulated by the qualified Basic and Supplementary Cardmember/s will be rounded down to 2 decimal places and will be credited to the Basic Cardmember’s account.

For Cathay Pacific American Express Credit Cards, The Bonus Miles earned from transactions made through cathaypacific.com.ph will be rounded down to the whole number and will be credited separately to the Cardmember's registered Asia Miles account.

b. The Bonus Membership Rewards® Points or Asia Miles shall be credited to the Basic Cardmember’s account within sixty (60) days after the end of the Registration Period (“Crediting Period”). If no discrepancy is reported by the Cardmember within sixty (60) days after the Crediting Period, the Bonus Points or Miles will be considered correct.
c. The American Express Card Account must be active and of good credit standing with no past due obligation during the promotion period and at the time of crediting of the bonus Membership Rewards® Points or Asia Miles, otherwise, the Bonus Points or Miles earned shall be forfeited.
d. The Bonus Membership Rewards® Points or Asia Miles earned in this promotion have no monetary value and are not convertible to cash.
e. This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional offers of American Express and BDO. 12. All BDO installment transactions are subject to bank approval.
13. The entire installment transaction amount shall be deducted from the Cardmember’s available credit limit.
14. The Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) Installment Program is effective from May 1 to July 31, 2019.  The monthly installment due on BNPL transactions, together with the monthly interest and penalty charge (if any), will be billed to the Cardmember starting on the third (3rd) statement cycle after the original transaction date and every month thereafter until the total amount payable is paid in full.
15. Zero Percent (0%) interest is applicable if the Cardmember pays his/her monthly installment in full.
16. In case of dispute in respect of but not limited to Cardmember’s eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment, BDO's decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardmember’s eligibility for the Promotion shall be resolved by BDO.
17. BDO may, at its sole and absolute option, accommodate Cardmember’s request to accelerate the charging of the full amount of the remaining unbilled monthly amortization/s on the EasyPay In-store installment transactions, provided that the Cardmember’s total outstanding balance due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle is paid in full. Further, a corresponding Installment Processing Fee of five percent (5%) of the total remaining balance or P300, whichever is higher, will be charged to the Cardmember’s account. After BDO has approved the Cardmember’s acceleration, the total accelerated amount due and the corresponding Installment Processing Fee shall form part of the total outstanding amount due for the pertinent monthly billing cycle and must be paid in full.*
