Frequently Asked Questions
Amex Offers is a programme that rewards you for spend on retail, travel, dining and more. Simply select offers from brands you love, ‘save the offer’ to your Card and use your Card to pay online or in store and the rewards will be applied to your Account. Saving the offers is easy and complimentary for our Card Members.
Eligible Cards may vary from offer to offer, so you’ll need to check the Offer Terms.
The following Cards are not eligible for Amex Offers at any time:
- American Express Business Travel Accounts
- Corporate Purchasing Cards
- Corporate Meeting Cards
- Corporate Cards
- American Express Cards issued by Citibank Singapore Limited
You can find Amex Offers using the Amex SG mobile app for Android and iPhone. You can also view your Amex Offers by visiting your online Account. If you don’t have an online Account, you can create one by clicking here.
You can save Amex Offers from the Amex SG mobile app, or your online Account:
- Amex SG mobile app: Tap the “Offers” icon found at the bottom of the screen and select the Amex Offers you want to save to your Card.
- Online Account: Log in to your online Account, find the Amex Offers you want to save to your Card and click “Save to Card”.
You can check in your online Account, within the “Saved to Card” offer section, or you can check in the Amex SG mobile app within the “My Offers” section.
Some offers may only be eligible for certain Cards, please visit your online Account to view the available offers for each Card.
Yes, any Amex Offers available for your supplementary Card Member will display in their Amex SG mobile app or their online Account. If your supplementary Card Member does not have an online Account, they can create one by clicking here.
Make sure you are opted in to receive marketing email communications from American Express. You can do this by logging into your online Account, selecting the ‘Account Management’ tab and then ‘Marketing Preferences’ to opt in to receive marketing email communications.
You can also view the available Amex Offers via your online Account or Amex SG mobile app.
If you have an eligible Card and your Account is in good standing, any Amex Offers available for your Card will display in your online Account or on Amex SG mobile app.
You will need to update your Amex SG mobile app to Version 6.0.0 and above to be able to view Amex Offers. Please check your app store and update to the latest version of the Amex SG app.
Remember, all Amex Offers are subject to an enrolment cap - as soon as the cap is reached, the offer will no longer display.
Yes, provided the participating location accepts mobile wallet payments. You still need to save the offer to your Card and pay using the same Card via your mobile wallet.
If you are issued a replacement Card with a new Card number, your participation in the previously saved offer may end and subject to offer availability, you will need to save the offer to your new Card. If you have already met the spend criteria, you will receive your credit or bonus points in accordance with the Offer Terms.
If your Card Account is cancelled during the offer period, your participation in the offer will end and you will not receive the credit, even if you met all the spend requirements.
Once you meet the spend requirement of the offer, credits or points should be credited to your account within 5 business days, however this can take up to 90 days from the Amex Offer end date.
If credits or points do not appear within 90 days of the Amex Offer ending, you should check that you:
- Used the same American Express Card that you saved the Amex Offer to.
- Met the purchase requirements (i.e. spent the required amount or number of purchases).
- Made your purchase(s) before the Amex Offer expired.
- Made the purchase(s) at an eligible participating location.
- Did not cancel your purchase, return purchased items or receive a refund for your purchase.
- If you think there is a problem at our end, you can call the number on the back of your Card to speak with a Customer Care Professional.
If you make a purchase that is cancelled or refunded, that purchase will no longer meet the spend requirement of the Amex Offer. If you have already redeemed the Amex Offer and received a credit or points from us, we may reverse the credit or points.
No. In order to get the credit or points, you must make the purchase using the same Card that you saved the Amex Offer to.
No. You must save the Amex Offer to your Card first and then make your purchase using that Card.
No. Transactions processed through a third party processor will not be eligible and will not count towards your spend for the purposes of the offer.
Yes. Each Amex Offer is subject to an enrolment cap and you can only save an individual Amex Offer once. However, there is no restriction on the number of different Amex Offers you can save to your Card.
