- The "SP Utilities Lucky Draw" (the "Draw") is organized by American Express International Inc., Singapore Brand ("Amex") (the "Organizer(s)").
- To be eligible to participate in the Draw, the individual must fulfil the following criteria:
- Be an American Express Basic Card Member holding a qualifying personal American Exprss Card issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore ("Card Members" and "Cards" respectively). The following Cards do not qualify for participation in the Draw:
- American Express Corporate Cards; and
- American Express Singapore Airlines Business Card; and
- American Express Cards issued by Citibank Singapore Limited, DBS Bank Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited; and
- Not be an employee of Singapore Power Ltd., American Express International Inc. their advertising agencies, subsidiaries of the abovementioned parties, the immediate families of the employees of the abovementioned parties, and any other party who are directly involved in organizing, promoting or conducting the Draw as determined by the Organizers.
- Be an American Express Basic Card Member holding a qualifying personal American Exprss Card issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore ("Card Members" and "Cards" respectively). The following Cards do not qualify for participation in the Draw:
- The Campaign Period is from 1 April 2020 to 30 September 2020. There will be one (1) Draw and the Qualifying Period for the Draw is: 1 April - 30 September 2020. The Draw Date will be 15 October 2020, 10 a.m.
- Qualifying Card Members will be auto-enrolled into the Draw.
- How to qualify for the draw:
Make 3 or more consecutive months of SP Utilities payments via the SP Utilities app with an eligible American Express Card and receive one (1) entry for the Draw. The 3 or more consecutive months of SP Utilities bill payments must be made during the Qualifying Period of 1 April - 30 September 2020 in order to qualify for the entry.
- Only personal/residential SP Utilities bills will be qualified for the Draw.
- All SP Utilities bill payments made via other channels, including but not limited to, SAM machines/mobile app or AXS machines/mobile app, do not qualify as eligible spend for the Draw.
- Supplementary Card Members are not entitled to participate in the Draw.
- The prizes for the Draw are as follows and there will be a total of five (5) winners (each a "Winner"):
SP Utilities Lucky Draw Prize: The Prize for each Winner is a lump-sum rebate of their qualifying consecutive SP Utilities bill payments of minimum 3 and maximum 6 months, capped at S$150 rebate per month.
For example: Winner made 3 consecutive months of SP Utilities bill payments with his/her AMEX Card which qualified him/her for the Draw. AMEX will rebate back to Winner the amount of SP Utilities bill payments (3 months worth) made to AMEX that qualified for the Draw, capped at S$150 per month. Rebate will be credited back to Winner's American Express Card Account and appear as statement credits.
Winner, at the point where the Draw is made, must be an active American Express Card Member as rebate will only be valid and can only be made to existing active American Express Card Members.
- The Draw will be held on the date listed out in Clause 3, at the offer of American Express International Inc. located at 20 (West) Pasir Panjang Road, Mapletree Business City #08-00, Singapore 117439, or on such other date or time at such other venue as may be determined by Amex. The Winners will be selected at random by Amex by computerised system under the supervision of an independent public accountant.
- All Card Accounts must be in good standing from 1 April 2020, through to the time of awarding the prize, in order for the Card Member to qualify to win the relevant prize.
- The Winners will be notified by phone call within seven (7) days after the Draw Date and the Winners will be required to acknowledge the notification during the phone call. Thereafter, rebate will be given to the Winners, credited into their Card Accounts within 4 to 6 weeks from the Draw Date.
- The Organizer(s) reserve the right to replace any Winner if he/she is found to be disqualified.
- Draw entries awarded to a Card Member are neither negotiable nor transferable.
- The Organizers reserve the right to draw reserve Winners to replace the original Winner who may subsequently be disqualified or deemed ineligible.
- The Organizers reverse the right to determine the number of entries allocated to an eligible Card Member.
- By participating in the Draw, the Card Members agrees to be bound by the rules, regulations and decisions of the Organizers and by these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions will result in a disqualification of the Card Member from the Draw.
- By participating in the Draw, the Winners agree to co-operate with and participate in any advertising or publicity activities of the Organizer(s) related to the Draw for over a period of one (1) year. The Winners agree that Amex may publicize the name, identification number or passport number and/or photograph of the Winner is such a mode and manner as Amex considers fit. By providing the Organizer(s) with personal information, Card Members consent for Amex to collect, use and disclose hir or her respective personal information for the purpose of facilitating his or her participation and providing him or her with information on the Draw. The Winners also consent for the Organizer(s) to share their personal information with the suppliers of the prize for the purposes of providing him or her with the prize.
- Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or kind.
- If the prize is not claimed within the stipulated period, it will be donated to a charitable organization agreed between the Organizer(s). The Winner whose prize has been forfeited is not entitled to any compensation notwithstanding the non-receipt by the Winner of the winning notification for whatever reason.
- The Oganizer(s) will not be responsible for any loss, claim or liability whatsoever suffered or incurred by any person in connection with he Draw (including the acceptance or possession of any prize) howsoever arising, including but without limitation, any loss of opportunity to participate due to any enties not received for any reasons whatsoever, any error in computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computing system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected or lost in post, claims, cost, injuries, losses,, or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light.
- The decision of the Organizer(s) on all matters relating to the Draw is final, conclusive and binding and no correspondence will be entertained.
- The Organizer(s) reserve the right to replace any prize with another item, or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Draw at any time in their sole discretion without notice.
- The Organizer(s) reserve the right to claim the full cost of the Prize from the Card Member in the event that the eligible Card transaction is cancelled or reversed after the Prize has been awarded.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore laws and the Singapore Courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions.
