Receive US$100 hotel credit for qualifying dining, spa and resort activities, when you stay at least two consecutive nights. We’ll even upgrade your room at check-in if there’s one available.
Platinum Members will receive access to the following benefits with each booking at over 600 participating hotels and resorts in over 30 countries worldwide, when staying a minimum of two consecutive nights and using your Platinum Card®:
- US$100 hotel credit on qualifying charges: Typically this will be dining, spa, golf or other hotel facilities. It cannot be used against the room rate, taxes, or any fees. Other restrictions may also apply depending on the property
- Complimentary room upgrade at check-in (when available): The Platinum Member will be welcomed as an American Express Hotel Collection guest and offered a room upgrade if available. An upgraded room is defined as a room one category higher than purchased.

Valid only for new "THE HOTEL COLLECTION" bookings with participating providers of two or more consecutive nights made through American Express Travel Online. Payment must be made in full with The Platinum Card in the Platinum Member's name. The Platinum Member must travel on itinerary booked to be eligible for benefits described. *A one category room upgrade is based on availability and eligibility at check-in to the hotel. **The Platinum Member will receive the credit as a deduction from the final hotel bill when checking out of the hotel; they will receive US$1 for each eligible dollar spent up to US$100. Eligible charges exclude charges for taxes, gratuities, fees and cost of room. Additional exclusions based on specific hotel restrictions may also apply (including without limitation purchases within the hotel that are unaffiliated and/or owned by third parties) - see hotel front desk for details. Credit must be used in conjunction with initial stay and cannot be carried over to another stay, is not redeemable for cash and expires at check-out. Credit is non-exchangeable and non-refundable and is applied in USD or equivalent in local currency based on exchange rate on day of arrival. It May not be combined with other offers or programs unless indicated. Limit one credit per room, per stay. Three-room limit per Eligible Platinum Member per stay; back-to-back stays within a 24-hour period at the same property will be considered as one stay.
