Travel rewards for your employees 6
Employees will be awarded with 1 Avios on every eligible £1 spent on the Corporate Card. With the Corporate Card Plus, employees can boost their personal rewards balance with 1.5 Avios on every eligible £1 spent on the Card plus 3 Avios for every eligible £1 spent with British Airways6, in addition to the accelerated On Business Points earned by the business.4 Avios can be used to book or part-pay towards personal reward flights and cabin upgrades, hotel bookings car hire and more.
- If they are not yet a British Airways Execuive Club Member they will be automatically enrolled as part of the British Airways American Express Corporate Cardmembership on-boarding process.
Cashflow Management
Up to 55 calendar days to pay on purchase and no pre-set spending limit provides greater purchasing power. Just pay off your balance in full every month 7
Liability options
You can select the level of liability for your Corporate Cardmembers and establish accountability for payment charges.
- Combined liability, in which the individual and your Company are liable individually as well as jointly for all charges incurred on the Card issued to them.
- Full Corporate liability, in which your Company is liable for all charges incurred on the Card issued.
Billing Options
Choose from a variety of billing options and ten billing cycles to accomodate your payroll periods and reimbursement arrangements.
- Individual billing accounts for Cardmembers with individual payments
- A central payment option that enables businesses to makes a single payment on all authorised charges, while Cardmembers pay American Express direct for unauthorised or personal charges
- Central billing, which consolidates expenses charged to individual Cards
Programme Account Management
- The @Work portal enables you to manage your Corporate Programme all in one place and efficiently maintain oversight of your business expenses at a company level including pulling consolidated company spend reports, managing who has an employee Card, updating account details, etc
- Your employees' online Cardmember Account allows them to manage their Card individually including paying their bills, checking individual transactions, updating their personal details
- The Amex App allows your employees to manage their account on the go
Expense Reporting
Through the @Work portal, you have access to Company level expense reporting so you can manage how and where your business is spending money. Our reporting functionality allows you to:
- Access a pre-populated expense report
- Add expenses and any out of pocket charges
- Download the report for processing either electronically or on paper
Insurance
- Travel Accident Protection up to £225,000 protects the traveller while traveling on public transport booked using the Card, including taxis 1
- Travel Inconvenience Protection protects the Cardmember in the case of flight and baggage delays while traveling on scheduled flights booked using the Card 1
- Baggage & Possessions Protection protects the traveller if their items are lost, stolen or damaged on travel booked using the Card 1
Express Cash
You can choose to provide worldwide cash access to your employees travelling on business, as part of your company programme 2

2. Express Cash: Requires company participation and Cardmember enrolment. Subject to terms and conditions. Please note that Express Cash application is subject to approval and activation. Cash access is granted subject to and governed by the terms of the agreement between American Express and your Company and may be withdrawn at your Company's request at any time.
3. Global Assist: Global Assist services are included without a fee; however, cash advances, medical, shipping and other costs are charged to your designated Card. Your approval will be sought prior to incurring any costs
4. Your Company will earn Two (2) On Business Points for every eligible £1 spent on qualifying flights directly with British Airways on the Card. For illustrative purposes, One (1) On Business Point comprises the additional earn for purchasing a qualifying flight with this Card Account (the Amex Accelerator), the other On Business Point is your base On Business Point earn. Please refer to full benefit terms and conditions associated with your Card Account for all benefit eligibility criteria. On Business Points are issued and redeemed subject to On Business Programme terms and conditions.
5. Annual Bonus for BA Corporate Plus: Companies will receive 2,500 On Business Points per British Airways American Express Corporate Card Plus Cardmember, who achieves a spend threshold of £25,000 on the Card within a 12-month period commencing on the issue date or an anniversary of the Card issue date. Spend excludes any cash withdrawals, American Express travellers cheque purchases, foreign exchange transactions or fees. Your account must be in good standing at the time the bonus is earned. 2,500 On Business Points are enough to redeem one economy return flight to Band 1 Europe. 6. Avios for BA Corporate Card: For the British Airways American Express Corporate Card, you will be awarded 1 Avios for every £1 of eligible spend on the Card. For the British Airways American Express Corporate Card Plus, you will be awarded 1.5 Avios for every £1 of eligible spend on the Card and 3 Avios when you spend direct with British Airways. Avios will not accrue in respect of any cash withdrawals, American Express travellers cheque purchases, foreign exchange transactions or fees. Avios will accrue in respect of spending in each month provided your account is not more than 60 days overdue. Avios will not accrue in respect of amounts which are subsequently recredited to your account because of refunds. British Airways Executive Club terms and conditions apply to Avios redemptions and detailed information can be found at britishairways.com/executive-club/terms-and-conditions.
7. Cashflow for BA Corporate Card: The maximum amount of time for payment period on purchases is 55 calendar days and is obtained only if you spend on the first day of the new statement period and repay the balance in full on the due date. No pre-set spending limit does not mean unlimited spending. Purchasing power can adjust with your Card, your payment history, credit record, financial resources known to us. and other factors. We reserve the right to apply temporary spending limits in accordance with the Card member Agreement.
8. On Business Points redemptions: Examples correct as of August 2019: please visit the On Business website for the most current redemption options. On Business flights and flight upgrades are subject to applicable taxes, fees, carrier charges and surcharges. Flights can be redeemed on British Airways, Iberia and American Airlines: flight upgrades can only be applied to British Airways flights as per the On Business terms and conditions.
