You can pay using a debit card that is issue by a UK bank or building society by logging in to your Online Account or by downloading the American Express Mobile App® to pay on the go.
Make sure to have your debit card to hand.
Important information: Please ensure you pay only up to the amount shown on your balance. American Express cannot accept payment for more than the outstanding current total balance. Debit Card payments will usually update your balance as soon as they are authorised, although Corporate Accounts and Accounts with a Flex Select balance can take 2 - 3 business days to appear on your Account.
