You must activate your American Express Gold Business Card before you can use it. You can activate here.

For security reasons, we send your American Express PIN separately from your Card. If you haven’t received it yet or if it’s more convenient, you can view your PIN here – just answer some security questions and we’ll reveal your PIN.

Your statement
Go green, go Paperless
Why wait for the post when you can access your bill at any time online? Sign up for Paperless Statements and you can view recent transactions right away. You’ll receive an email reminder from us when each statement is ready and you’ll always have instant online access to six months’ worth of past statements.

Ways to pay your bill
There are so many ways to pay your bill in an efficient, secure way. Take your pick from the options below.
It’s fast, secure and easy to pay your bill online using a debit card. Firstly, register for Online Services. Then, as soon as you’re logged in, you can easily pay your bill online. Please allow two working days for the payment to be received on your account. You can also set up a Direct Debit online and payment will be collected automatically from your bank account.
By telephone
You can pay your bill by debit card or set up a Direct Debit by telephone. All you need to do is call the number on the back of your Card. Please allow two working days for the payment to be received on your account.
By post
Send us a cheque, along with the payment slip at the bottom of your statement. Write your Card number on the front of your cheque. Please allow seven working days for your payment to reach us. Please make your cheque payable to American Express Services Europe Ltd. Post in the addressed envelope enclosed with your bill or write your own to American Express Services Europe Ltd, Royal Avenue, Widnes, WA88 1AE.
In person
Visit an American Express Travel Service or Foreign Exchange Office, in the UK (also found in most overseas offices). You can pay in cash, or by cheque. Make sure you have your Card and your statement with you. It will take approximately five working days for your account to be credited if the payment is made at a UK branch. You can also pay at your bank using the payment slip from the bottom of your statement. Please allow four working days for the payment to be reflected on your account.
Please note that American Express is not currently part of the Faster Payments Service.
