How do I earn Membership Rewards® points?

You can earn Membership Rewards® points for eligible charges made on a Card linked to a Membership Rewards account.

The number of points you can earn depends on your Card. Generally, you can earn one point for every dollar you spend, while some Cards award more points for spending at particular locations or for the number of purchases made on that Card within a billing period.

If you have a Card eligible for Membership Rewards, you can find personalized information within your online account at americanexpress.com/benefits.
