Some Card Members can transfer Membership Rewards® points into frequent flyer or guest programs to top off their account, get an upgrade, or get a reward flight or hotel room.
Keep in mind the following tips:
- To transfer points, you must link your Membership Rewards account to a participating frequent flyer or guest program account.
- If you're transferring points to book a flight or hotel room, check availability and how many points are needed before completing the transfer, as all transfers are final.
- Check your frequent flyer or guest program account to confirm the points have transferred, then redeem directly with the airline or hotel for your booking.
The partner account that you transfer points into must be held by you or an Additional Card Member linked to your Membership Rewards account. An Additional Card must be issued to the Additional Card Member at least 90 days prior to linking your Membership Rewards account to that Additional Card Member’s partner program account. Remember, once you transfer points to a partner program, they are subject to the terms and conditions of the partner's program.
