The certificate cannot be used until the certificate on the American Express SFT platform has been completed.


American Express Production Key – SSH/SFTP Protocol (Inbound file transfers)

This Key will go into effect on the American Express SFT platform on Nov 10th, 2020. There will be no outage as a result of this change. The certificate cannot be used until the certificate on the American Express SFT platform has been completed.

The new key cannot be used until the update on American Express SFT platform has been completed.


American Express Production Key – SSH/SFTP Protocol (Outbound file transfers)

American Express Production Certificate – AS2 Protocol

This certificate will go into effect on the American Express SFT platform Jan 21st, 2020 11 AM MST. As part of the update there will be a one hour outage from 11:00 AM to 11:59 AM MST. During that time customers using the AS2 protocol will not be able to connect to the American Express SFT platform to transfer files.

The certificate cannot be used until the certificate on the American Express SFT platform has been completed.

This certificate will go into effect on the American Express SFT platform on Jan 21st, 2020 11 AM MST. There will be no outage as a result of this change. The certificate cannot be used until the certificate on the American Express SFT platform has been completed.


TLS 1.0 and 1.1 Support Discontinued

Beginning March 31, 2018, the American Express Secure File Transfer (SFT) platform will no longer support users connecting to SFT through TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. This change is necessary to ensure American Express remains compliant with Security Policies and Industry Standards. All customers should ensure their secure file transfer client software is configured to avoid disruption.
