It's Hard To Be Original, Content Marketers Say

Content marketing isn't easy, but the benefits can be worth it.
November 21, 2012 A survey by content curation platform Curata says nearly 90 percent of B2B marketers have used content marketing in 2012, but many struggle to come up with original content. Not only is it difficult to come up with topics, but creating original content takes time, an issue two-thirds of the respondents to the "B2B Marketing Trends 2012 Report" said they have trouble with as well.

About 57 percent of the content marketers surveyed indicated they use content curation specifically as part of their strategy, but only 43 percent said that curation was successful based on the standards they used to measure the technique.
