If you want to get traffic to your website, it’s time to get back to SEO basics—title tags, specifically. Most browsers are configured to no longer show them to the user (they used to be in that little blue bar at the top of the screen). But just because you can’t see them doesn't make them any less relevant. In fact, they have become more relevant than ever.
Title tags are what search engines use to quickly “understand” what a specific page is about, similar to the heading of a chapter in a book. And with fewer site managers properly implementing title tags on their webpages, those “invisible” title tags, done right, give your site the SEO advantage.
