- Entrance requirements: Passengers must have an eligible American Express Card, such as the American Express® Platinum or Platinum Business Cards (which offer unlimited access), or the American Express Explorer® or Business Explorer Credit Cards, or the Qantas American Express Ultimate Card (which offer two complimentary passes per calendar year), a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel, and a government-issued ID. Card Members must arrive within three hours of their departing flight.
- Guests: Amex Platinum and Centurion Card Members can also bring two complimentary guests, including children aged 17 years or younger (additional terms apply).
Plaza Premium Lounge2

- Entrance Requirements: The Qantas International Business Lounge is accessible to Qantas American Express Ultimate Card Members. At least 24 hours prior to accessing the lounge, have your Qantas Frequent Flyer number ready, login to the Complimentary Invitations Portal to view the Lounge Invitation available for use and link it to your eligible Qantas flight. To access the lounge, present the confirmation email you will have received along with your boarding pass.

1. The following Terms and Conditions govern the entry to The American Express Centurion® Lounges at the Sydney International Airport and the Melbourne International Airport.
Eligible Cards
(a) The Cards listed below that are current and issued by American Express Australia Limited and American Express International (NZ), are eligible to enter The Centurion Lounges in Sydney and Melbourne:

(b) Internationally issued American Express® Centurion and American Express® Platinum Cards that are current are eligible to enter the Centurion Lounge. At the discretion of American Express, other American Express Card Members may also enter The Centurion Lounges.
Access to The Centurion Lounge
(a) American Express Centurion, American Express Platinum, American Express Platinum Business and American Express Corporate Platinum Card Members, have unlimited complimentary access to The Centurion Lounges for each American Express Card Account and are entitled to bring their children 17 years of age or younger and up to 2 guests into the lounge. Card Members wishing to bring additional guests will be subject to a charge that is to be processed on the Card Member's American Express Card. Please refer to the reception desk at The Centurion Lounge for the applicable charges.
(b) All other eligible cards are entitled to a total of two entries into The Centurion Lounges in Sydney and Melbourne per calendar year (1st January to 31st December). The entries may be used by the Primary Card Member, Additional Card Member or a guest travelling with a Card Member. Complimentary access is available for the Card Member's children 17 years of age or younger. Card Members wishing to bring additional guests will be subject to a charge that is to be processed on the Card Member's American Express Card. Please refer to the reception desk at The Centurion Lounge for the applicable charges.
General Conditions of Entry
(a) The Centurion Lounge at Sydney International Airport and Melbourne International Airport are operated by Plaza Premium Lounge Management (“Lounge Operator”). To access The Centurion Lounge, Card Members must present the following upon each visit their eligible physical American Express Credit or Charge Card and upon request, same-day airline ticket on any carrier.
(b) A Card Member must be at least 18 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian.
(c) The Lounge Operator reserves the right to remove any person from a lounge for inappropriate behaviour or failure to adhere to lounge rules, including, but not limited to, conduct that is disruptive, abusive or violent.
(d) Access to The Centurion Lounges is subject to space availability. The Centurion Lounge hours may vary and are subject to change without prior notice. Amenities may vary among The Centurion Lounge locations and are subject to change. In-lounge services and amenities are complimentary.
(e) American Express will not be liable for any articles lost or stolen or damages suffered by the Card Member or visitor inside the American Express Lounges.
(f) Use of The Centurion Lounges is subject to all rules and conditions set by American Express and the Lounge Operator. American Express reserves the right to revise the rules at any time without notice.
2. Plaza Premium Lounges
This benefit is available to Platinum Card Members. Additional Gold Cards and Additional Green Cards on your Platinum account are not eligible for complimentary access. Card Members receive complimentary access to any global location of Plaza Premium Lounges. Card Member must present their valid Card, a confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel on any carrier and government-issued I.D. In some cases, Card Member must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Card Members may bring up to two (2) guests into Plaza Premium Lounges as complimentary guests. Card Member must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Card Members and their guests will receive all of the complimentary benefits and amenities afforded to the Plaza Premium Lounge customers, as well as access to purchase non-complimentary items. Some product features may be subject to additional charges. Plaza Premium Lounge locations are subject to change.
3. Priority Pass™ - Platinum Personal Charge Card. This benefit is available to Platinum Personal Charge Card Members. Platinum Card Members and one Additional Platinum Card Member as nominated by the Primary Card Member may enrol in the Priority Pass™ program. Additional Gold Cards and Additional Green Cards on your Platinum account are not eligible for complimentary access. Priority Pass is an independent airport lounge access program. You acknowledge and agree that American Express will verify your Card Account number and provide updated Card Account information to Priority Pass. Priority Pass will use this information to fulfill on the Priority Pass program and may use this information for marketing related to the program. Once enrolled, Platinum Card Members whose Card Account is not cancelled may access participating Priority Pass lounges by presenting your Priority Pass card and airline boarding pass. If the Card Account is cancelled, you will not be eligible for Priority Pass and your enrolment will be cancelled. At any visit to a Priority Pass lounge that admits guests, you may bring in 1 guest for no charge. You will be charged the prevailing retail rate for any additional guests. Some lounges do not admit guests. In some lounges, Priority Pass member must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Priority Pass members must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Amenities may vary among airport lounge locations. Conference rooms, where available, may be reserved for a nominal fee. Priority Pass lounge partners and locations are subject to change. All Priority Pass members must adhere to the Priority Pass Conditions of Use, which will be sent to you with your membership package, and can be viewed at www.prioritypass.com. Upon receipt of your enrolment information, Priority Pass will send your Priority Pass card and membership package which you should receive within 10-14 business days. If you have not received the Priority Pass card after 14 days, please contact American Express using the number on the back of your American Express® Card. To receive immediate access to the lounges after enrolling in Priority Pass, you can activate your membership online by using your Priority Pass membership details to receive a Digital Membership Card. Qantas Club Lounge Invitations for Qantas American Express Ultimate Card Members.
Provided you are a Qantas Frequent Flyer and have registered your Qantas Frequent Flyer number with your Qantas American Express Ultimate Card, you are eligible to receive two Qantas Club Lounge Invitations each anniversary year of your Card Membership after purchasing on selected Qantas products and services using your Qantas American Express Ultimate Card. Selected Qantas products and services are Qantas passenger flights with a QF flight number purchased directly from Qantas.com.au; Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and/ or annual fees. Subject to Qantas American Express Card Points Terms and Conditions. Within 2 weeks of purchasing selected Qantas products and services, you will receive an email from Qantas confirming the Qantas Club Lounge Invitations are available for use. Qantas Club Lounge Invitations for Qantas American Express Premium Card Members.
Provided you are a Qantas Frequent Flyer and have registered your Qantas Frequent Flyer number with your Qantas American Express Premium Card, you are eligible to receive two Qantas Club Lounge Invitations each anniversary year of your Card Membership after purchasing on selected Qantas products and services using your Qantas American Express Premium Card. Selected Qantas products and services are Qantas passenger flights with a QF flight number purchased on the Qantas merchant account i.e. with Qantas direct or some travel agents and Qantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club membership joining and annual fees. Qantas Club Lounge Invitations for American Express Qantas Business Rewards Card Members
Provided the Primary Card Member is a Qantas Frequent Flyer member and has registered their Qantas Frequent Flyer number with your business's American Express Qantas Business Rewards Card, your business is eligible to receive two domestic Qantas Club Lounge Invitations each anniversary year of Card Membership once your business makes an Eligible Qantas Purchase on your American Express Card during that year. Eligible Qantas Purchases are Qantas passenger airfares with a QF flight number purchased directly from Qantas Australia that appear on your Card statement, Qantas Frequent Flyer, Qantas Business Rewards or Qantas Club membership, joining or annual fees. Excludes purchases from Jetstar. Within 1-2 weeks of the Eligible Qantas Purchase, two Qantas Club Lounge Invitations will be assigned to the Qantas Frequent Flyer account nominated by the business. Visit the Complimentary Invitations Portal to access invitations, link it with an eligible Qantas flight booking or find out more information. Qantas Club Lounge Invitations are valid for a single visit by one guest to a domestic Qantas Club Lounge only and must be used prior to their expiry. Invitations are subject to the Qantas Complimentary Lounge Invitation Terms and Conditions. Qantas Club Invitations cannot be carried forward to any subsequent year and must not be sold, they may only be transferred as allowed by Qantas. Invitations may be revoked or withheld if your business's American Express Qantas Business Rewards Card account is not in good standing, if the Eligible Qantas Purchase is refunded in full or if you have not complied with these Qantas Complimentary Lounge Invitation Terms and Conditions, the Qantas Club Lounge Entry Terms and Conditions or the Card Terms and Conditions.
5. Virgin Australia
For Amex Platinum, Amex Platinum Business or Amex Corporate Platinum Cards:
This benefit is available to Primary Platinum Card Members. Access is complimentary for Primary Platinum Card Members and one complimentary guest only. The Primary Platinum Card Member and guest must be travelling with Virgin Australia domestically on the same Virgin Australia flight. Access is to Virgin Australia-branded lounges at their city of departure in Australia only. The Platinum Card Member must present their valid Physical Platinum Card and same-day boarding pass to Virgin Australia lounge agents and the name on the boarding pass must match the name on the Platinum Card. The guest must also present their boarding pass. One guest per Primary Platinum Card Member permitted. All access is subject to space availability. Additional Gold Cards and Additional Green Cards on your Platinum account are not eligible for complimentary access. This benefit is subject to change.
For Amex Velocity Platinum Card:
*Virgin Australia Lounge Access
The American Express Velocity Platinum Card Virgin Australia Lounge Access is subject to the American Express Velocity Platinum Card Benefits Terms and Conditions. The Virgin Australia Lounge Access provides the Primary Card Member with access to Virgin Australia lounges at Australian domestic airports whenever they are flying on a Virgin Australia operated domestic flight on the same day. American Express Velocity Platinum Primary Card Members will receive 12 months of lounge access on your Velocity membership. Enrol via your online American Express Account. This is your benefit anniversary date. After enrolling, activate the VA Lounge Access by making an Eligible Transaction on your American Express Velocity Platinum Card. Eligible Transaction does not include annual Card fees, cash advances, interest, balance transfers, fees and charges for traveller’s cheques and foreign currencies. After 12 months, at each subsequent benefit anniversary, make an Eligible Transaction on your Velocity Platinum Card to reactivate the VA Lounge Access. Please allow up to 7 days for the benefit to be processed on to the Primary Card Member’s Velocity membership. The Primary Card Member must provide their Velocity Frequent Flyer membership details to Virgin Australia lounge staff and present same day boarding pass on a Virgin Australia flight. Additional Card Members are not eligible. Virgin Australia lounge access is subject to space availability. Virgin Australia lounge is owned and operated by Virgin Australia Airlines Pty. ^Virgin Australia Guest Lounge Passes
Virgin Australia Guest Lounge Passes are subject to the American Express Velocity Platinum Card Benefits Terms and Conditions. Two single entry passes to the Virgin Australia lounge will be activated on the Primary Card Member’s Velocity Frequent Flyer membership account annually, on or after each anniversary of membership. Additional Card members are not eligible. Complimentary single entry Virgin Australia Guest Lounge Passes are not transferable, but may be used to enable other people (who are travelling with the Primary Card Member) to gain access to the lounge. The Virgin Australia lounge is operated by Virgin Australia Airlines Pty. Ltd. in selected domestic airports in accordance with the Virgin Australia Lounge Terms and Conditions, available at virginaustralia.com/lounge and as amended from time to time. For Amex Velocity Business Card Members
American Express Velocity Business Card Members receive two complimentary single entry passes each Membership year. The Card Member must be travelling with Virgin Australia domestically. Access is to Virgin Australia-branded lounges in Australia only. Name on boarding pass must match the name on the Velocity Business Card. The Velocity Business Card Member must present his or her valid Card and same-day boarding pass (containing their Virgin Australia Velocity Frequent Flyer number and status) to Virgin Australia lounge agents. Single entry passes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
