My First Mardi Gras Community Program
Mardi Gras is a cherished time of year for those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s a festival where many feel most accepted – free to show the world their true selves.
In our first year as Principal Partner, American Express will work with organisations intrinsically engaged in the LGBTQIA+ community to identify people who have never been to Mardi Gras before. We’ll bring them to Sydney for their first Mardi Gras experience and connect them with other members of the LGBTQIA+ community. To continue our support once Mardi Gras has ended, we will work within local communities to create long-lasting impact that drives positive change.
