This contemporary hotel is housed in the iconic Torre Virreyes building. The design of the guest rooms and suites is thoroughly modern and sleek, with a muted gray color palette and floor-to-ceiling windows. Due to the shape of the building, some windows are angled. Bathrooms are clad in gray marble.

The menu at Carmela y Sal combines fine dining with home cooking for an elevated take on traditional Mexican cuisine. Flavors are inspired by the Tabasco region.
