Mount Juliet Estate is a grand 18th-century property nestled among 500 acres of lush parkland in Kilkenny, Ireland. The property is also home to a Jack Nicklaus–designed golf course and equestrian center, and is about one hour south of Dublin.

Where You’re Staying

Guest rooms are split between the 18th-century Manor House and the elegantly converted Hunter’s Yard, the former stables, and what they share is a sense of romance and sophistication. Manor House rooms are individually decorated each with unique charm, while the rooms at Hunter’s Yard feature a more contemporary design, but expect richly layered textiles and patterns. Bathrooms in both settings are equally chic.

Lady Helen offers a fine-dining experience with a menu showcasing locally sourced, modern Irish cuisine. Try The Hound for casual dining, and at the end of the day head to the cellar 1757 Bar to unwind and enjoy a nightcap. Afternoon tea is also served.

Hit the links at the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, which has hosted the Horizon Irish Open.
