Do I need to notify American Express if I plan to travel?
No, American Express does not need to be notified if you are planning to travel. Our systems can identify when the Cardmember is travelling through the transactions on your card. We will continue to monitor accounts for possible fraudulent activity. Please ensure any contact information on your account is up to date.
If you make a charge in a currency other than Canadian dollars that charge will be converted into Canadian dollars. Please refer to your Cardmember Agreement for specific details regarding charges made in foreign currencies.
