How long does it take to resolve a dispute, and will I be kept informed?

The time required to resolve a dispute may vary depending on the complexity of the case. Once your dispute is opened, you will receive an acknowledgement letter or email confirming that an investigation has begun and outlining the approximate time frame for resolution.

 

If you opened your dispute through your Online Services Account, we’ll keep you updated on the progress by email or letter, and you can also track the status anytime by visiting Your Disputes online.
