1Offer
Add an Employee Card Member to your Account through this promotional offer page and you can earn 20,000 Bonus Miles after theEmployee Card Member spends $4,000 (the “Threshold Amount”) in eligible purchases on their Employee Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card or Employee Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card in their first 6 months of Card Membership starting from the date on which the Employee Card Member is added to your Account. The maximum amount of Bonus Miles you can earn through this offer is 80,000 Bonus Miles. Employee Cards must be added through this promotional offer page to be eligible for this offer. Purchases made by other Employee Card Members on your Account will not count toward an Employee Card Member’s Threshold Amount. Purchases made by eligible Employee Card Members will not be combined to satisfy the Threshold Amount. Your purchases as the Basic Card Member will not count toward an Employee Card Member’s Threshold Amount. If you add multiple Employee Cards to your Account through the promotional offer page, the first 4 Employee Cards that reach the Threshold Amount in their first 6 months of Card Membership will earn you the bonus offer.
The 20,000 Bonus Miles will be applied to the Basic Card Member's Account 8-12 weeks after the Threshold Amount is met by an Employee Card Member added through the promotional offer page.
Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, purchases of travelers checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Your Card Account must not be past due or canceled at the time of fulfillment of any offers.
You can earn 20,000 bonus miles after the Additional Card Member spends $4,000 or more on eligible purchases on their Card within their first 6 months of Card Membership starting from the date on which the Additional Card Member is added. In rare instances, the Additional Card Member’s period to spend $4,000 may be shorter than 6 months if there is a delay in receiving their Card. Also, purchases may fall outside of the 6-month period in some cases, such as a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date they made the transaction. (For example, if they buy goods online, the purchase date may be the date the goods are shipped).
This offer is not transferable. American Express reserves the right to modify or revoke this offer at any time.
If we determine that you or your Additional Card Members have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this offer in any way or that you intend to do so, including if you or your Additional Card Members return purchases made to meet the Threshold Amount, we may not credit, we may freeze, or we may take away theBonus Miles from your Card Account. We may also cancel any Card Accounts you and your Additional Card Members have with us.
2Total Card Limit for Employee Cards
You may add up to 99 total Employee Cards on your account.
3Employee Card Spending Limits
Employee Card Spending Limits may be set up online or by calling the number on the back of your Card. The Spending Limit is not a guarantee that the Employee Card Member will be able to make purchases up to that limit. There are certain purchases where the limit does not apply, such as, for example, restaurant tips and hotel stays extended beyond their original reservation period, and the overall Account capacity is taken into consideration. You agree to pay all Charges without regard to whether any Charges exceed a limit, and you agree that we are not liable to you or any other person when a limit is not applied to any Charges and/or when Charges are incurred and billed that exceed a limit. For more information on the application of the limit, please refer to the Employee Card Spending Limits Terms and Conditions at www.americanexpress.com/spendlimits/terms, which will also be provided when you enroll Employee Card(s) in this feature.
4Miles on Eligible Purchases
1x Mile on eligible purchases: Basic Card Members will earn 1 mile for each dollar of eligible purchases charged on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account.
1.5x Miles on U.S. Shipping: Basic Card Members will earn 0.5 additional miles (for a total of 1.5 miles) for each dollar of eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account charged at merchants in the U.S. for shipping services. To earn additional miles for shipping, eligible purchases must be made at courier, postal, and freight shippers located in the U.S. Basic Card Members will not earn additional miles for shipping costs added to retail purchases or moving services.
1.5x Miles on Transit: Basic Card Members will earn 0.5 additional miles (for a total of 1.5 miles) for each dollar of eligible transit purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account. Eligible transit purchases include purchases with train, taxicab, ride share service, ferry, toll, parking, bus, and subway merchants. Purchases of airfare, car rental and cruises are not considered eligible transit purchases.
1.5x Miles at U.S. Office Supply Stores: Basic Card Members will earn 0.5 additional miles (for a total of 1.5 miles) for each dollar of eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account at office supply stores located in the U.S. Office supply stores are in the business of selling a range of office supplies, including items like: paper, notebooks, office equipment, and office furniture. Office supplies purchased at other retail stores will not earn additional miles.
1.5x Miles on purchases after spending $150,000: If in any calendar year eligible purchases made by the Basic Card Member or any Additional Cards on the Card Account total more than $150,000, Basic Card Members will earn 0.5 additional miles (for a total of 1.5 miles) on eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account made after the $150,000 threshold is reached through the end of the same calendar year. Only one accelerator will apply even if a purchase qualifies for multiple mileage categories. If an eligible purchase qualifies for a category that has a higher mileage accelerator, only the higher accelerator will apply instead of the one-half mile per dollar. For example, if you make a Delta purchase after reaching the $150,000 threshold, the Basic Card Member will earn two additional miles per dollar instead of an additional one-half mile per dollar for that Delta purchase. The close of the calendar year is December 31st without regard to the time of the year that the account is opened. This means that for the first year of Card Membership, the Card Account’s time period to reach the $150,000 threshold may be less than twelve months.
3x Miles on Delta Purchases: Basic Card Members will earn 2 additional miles (for a total of 3 miles) on each dollar of eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account charged directly with Delta where Delta is the merchant of record, such as purchases via delta.com, the Fly Delta app, phone reservations, or ticket counters, for upgrades, miles, seat selection, Delta Sky Club® membership, and in-flight purchases of food and beverages on Delta-operated flights (“Delta Purchases”). Delta Purchases do not include in-flight purchases where Delta is not the merchant of record, such as in-flight wireless internet access and charitable contributions. Delta Purchases do not include Delta Gift Cards and purchases made at deltashop.com and/or the Delta Flight Museum. Delta Purchases include Delta Vacations® packages but not other all-inclusive packages. Delta Purchases include new Delta Stays prepaid hotel or vacation rental bookings on the Delta Stays platform (delta.com/stays). Delta Purchases include purchases of qualifying Delta, Delta Connection® carrier and Delta Shuttle® flights taken with the purchase of a fare that is eligible for SkyMiles mileage credit. For purposes of this Card benefit, “Delta Purchases” also includes Delta Main Basic (Basic Economy) fares, notwithstanding that these fares do not earn SkyMiles mileage credit for travel. Full SkyMiles program terms: delta.com/memberguide. Additional miles earned for Delta flight purchases made with the Card will be based on the total ticket price, including base fare, carrier-imposed surcharges and government-imposed taxes and fees.
Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers checks, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person transactions, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Miles will be posted to the Basic Card Member’s Delta SkyMiles account 8 to 12 weeks after the end of each month. To be eligible to receive miles, the Card Account must not be canceled or past due at the time of fulfillment.
Merchants are assigned codes based on what they primarily sell. We group certain merchant codes into categories that are eligible for additional miles. A purchase with a merchant will not receive additional miles if the merchant’s code is not included in a reward category. Basic Card Members may not receive additional miles if we receive inaccurate information or are otherwise unable to identify the purchase as eligible for a reward category. For example, Basic Card Members may not receive additional miles when: a merchant uses a third-party to sell their products or services; or a merchant uses a third-party to process or submit the transaction to us (e.g., using mobile or wireless card readers); or Card Members choose to make a purchase using a third-party payment account or make a purchase using a mobile or digital wallet.
For questions about additional miles on a purchase, call the number on the back of your Card. Please visit americanexpress.com/rewards-info for more information about rewards.
5Delta Sky Club® Access
Card Members with a Delta SkyMiles® Reserve or Reserve Business American Express Basic or SkyMiles Reserve or Reserve Business Additional Card (each, an “Eligible Card”) will receive 15 “Visits” per Eligible Card each year to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go. Visits are issued at Card Account opening and then on February 1 of each subsequent year and expire on January 31 of each year. Visits are non-transferable and may only be used by the Eligible Card Member. Eligible Card Members traveling on a Delta partner airline flight that is not marketed or operated by Delta may access the Club at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person.
A “Visit” is an entry to one or more Delta Sky Clubs or usage of the Delta Sky Club “Grab and Go” feature, at one or more airports, for a period of up to 24 hours starting upon the first Delta Sky Club entry or Grab and Go usage, during an Eligible Card Member's travel on a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight. Eligible Card Members traveling on a Delta-marketed, Delta-operated flight or a Delta partner airline flight that is not marketed or operated by Delta with Basic Economy (E) fare tickets (or similar “Light” or “basic” tickets issued by a Delta partner) do not have access to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go. A single Visit permits usage of Delta Sky Club(s) in multiple airports during the 24-hour period. For example, if you visit a Delta Sky Club in different airports on a trip, entry into one or more of these Clubs will be considered part of the same Visit as long as these additional entries occur within 24 hours of the first Delta Sky Club entry. If travel exceeds 24 hours from the first Delta Sky Club, then a second Visit will be deducted if entering the Delta Sky Club or using Grab and Go more than 24 hours after the first entry. Eligible Card Members may not access the Club or a Grab and Go location in the three hours from the time of previous Grab and Go usage at the same airport. Once all 15 Visits have been used, Eligible Card Members may purchase additional Delta Sky Club Visits at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person, or may purchase a Grab and Go Visit at a per-Visit rate of $25 per person. Visits cannot be used for guest entry. During a Visit, Eligible Card Members may bring either up to two (2) guests, or their immediate family (spouse/domestic partner and children under 21) to the Club at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person, or may purchase a Grab and Go Visit at a per-Visit rate of $25 per person. The Eligible Card must be used as the payment method to purchase Card Member and guest access. Guests must also be flying on a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight or Delta partner airline flight and be accompanied by the Eligible Card Member. Guests traveling on a Delta-marketed, Delta operated flight or a Delta partner airline flight that is not marketed or operated by Delta with Basic Economy (E) fare tickets (or similar “Light” or “basic” tickets issued by a Delta partner) do not have access to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go. Children under 2 years of age may accompany the Eligible Card Member for free.
Eligible Card Members with multiple eligible American Express Cards that grant Delta Sky Club access are responsible for selecting their method of entry into a Delta Sky Club prior to entry. Visits will be deducted based on the eligible American Express Card presented at time of entry. Switching the American Express Card used for entry after a Card Member has entered a Delta Sky Club is not permitted.
To earn an unlimited number of Visits (“Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access”), the total eligible purchases on the Eligible Card Account must equal or exceed $75,000 (the “Purchase Requirement”) in each calendar year. Once effective, Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be provided to both the Basic and Additional Reserve Card Members on the Eligible Card Account. All entry requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions will continue to apply with respect to Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access.
Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be processed within a week of the Eligible Card Account’s satisfying the Purchase Requirement in most instances but may take up to 12 weeks to become effective. Once effective, Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access will be available for the remainder of the calendar year in which it became effective, the following calendar year and through January 31 of the next calendar year (for example, if Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access becomes effective on May 1, 2025, it will remain effective through January 31, 2027). Eligible purchases made by any Additional Card Members on the Eligible Card Account will contribute to the Purchase Requirement. Eligible purchases to meet the Purchase Requirement are for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees, interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers’ checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments or other cash equivalents. If a Card Member upgrades to an Eligible Card from a different Delta SkyMiles Card, eligible purchases made on the prior Delta SkyMiles Card Account will count toward the Purchase Requirement. Delta reserves the right to revoke Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access if you return, reverse or charge back eligible purchases in a way that reduces your eligible spend below the Purchase Requirement for the calendar year. If Delta and/or American Express determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this Delta Sky Club Access Benefit in any way or that you intend to do so, Visits may be deducted from your account and/or Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access revoked.
Eligible Card Members must present their valid Card, government-issued I.D. and boarding pass for entry. Boarding pass must show a reservation for a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight departing from or arriving at the airport in which the Delta Sky Club is located. Eligible Card Members traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed, Delta-operated flight or a Delta partner airline flight that is not marketed or operated by Delta with Basic Economy (E) fare tickets (or similar “Light” or “basic” tickets issued by a Delta partner) will not have access to the Delta Sky Club or to Grab and Go. Name on boarding pass must match name on the Card. Eligible Card Members on departing flights can only access the Delta Sky Club or the Delta Sky Club “Grab and Go” feature within 3 hours of their flight's scheduled departure time or at any time during a layover. Delta reserves the right to limit access for non-revenue flyers at any Delta Sky Club. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to access Delta Sky Club, and 21 years of age to access locations with a self-service bar, unless accompanied by a responsible, supervising adult who has access to the Club. Benefit valid only at Delta Sky Club. Partner lounges are not included. Note that amenities may vary among Delta Sky Club locations. Access is subject to Delta Sky Club House Rules. To review the House Rules, please visit delta.com/skyclub. Benefit and rules subject to change without notice. Additional restrictions may apply.
Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Card Members enjoy 15 Visits each Medallion® Year to the Delta Sky Club® when flying Delta. To earn an unlimited number of Visits, the total purchases on the Card Account must equal $75,000 or more during a calendar year.
6Reserve MQD Boost
Effective January 1, 2024: Basic Card Members will earn one (1) Medallion Qualification Dollar (MQD) for each $10 of eligible purchases charged to their Delta SkyMiles® Reserve and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account during a Qualification Year. MQDs earned during a Qualification Year are used to determine qualification for Medallion Status for the subsequent Medallion Year for the Basic Card Member. MQDs have no cash value and are not redeemable for Award Travel or other SkyMiles redemptions. MQDs are not transferrable or assignable to any other person and cannot be gifted to another SkyMiles member.
All Medallion Status Qualification and Medallion Benefits rules and policies apply and may be viewed at delta.com/medallion. MQDs will not extend or roll over from year to year, and MQD balance will be reset to zero on or about January 1 each calendar year. Medallion Status is calculated annually based on activity during a Qualification Year. A Qualification Year is from January 1 to December 31 of a given year. The close of the Qualification Year is December 31, without regard to the time of the year that the Card Account is opened. This means that for the first year of Card Membership, the Card Member's eligible purchase period for the MQD Benefit may be shorter than twelve months.
Eligible purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees, interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers’ checks, person-to-person transactions, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards or purchases of other cash equivalents. American Express relies on the transaction date submitted to us by the merchant, which may differ from the date you make a purchase, to determine whether the purchase counts toward the MQD threshold in that Qualification Year. This means that in some cases your purchases may not count toward the MQD threshold in the year in which you made the purchases. For example, if you make a purchase on December 31 and the merchant lists the transaction date as January 1 when they submit the transaction data to us, your purchase will be counted in the Qualification Year which began on that January 1. MQDs will be deducted from the MQD Balance (and may result in a negative MQD Balance) for any returns or other credits, and Delta reserves the right to adjust, remove or suspend Medallion Status if you return, reverse or charge back eligible purchases in a way that reduces your MQD balance below the threshold of any Medallion Tier for the preceding Qualification Year. To receive the MQDs, your account must not be canceled or past due at the time the MQDs are posted to your account. If Delta and/or American Express determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this MQD Benefit in any way or that you intend to do so, Delta may not credit, Delta may freeze or Delta may take away MQDs from your account or terminate your participation in the SkyMiles Program.
MQDs may take 8 to 12 weeks after the eligible transaction posts to the Card Account to be posted to the Basic Card Member’s Delta SkyMiles account. Basic Card Members can confirm their MQD progress for a Qualification Year by logging into their SkyMiles account on delta.com or in the Fly Delta app.
720% Back on In-Flight Purchases
Basic Card Members will receive a 20% savings in the form of a statement credit on eligible pre-purchased meals and in-flight purchases of food and beverages on Delta-operated flights charged to their Basic or any Additional Cards on the Card Account. Savings do not apply to any other in-flight purchases, such as in-flight wireless internet access, purchases through the Delta Sync in-flight wireless internet portal, associated services and charitable contributions. To receive the statement credit, Card Members must use their Delta SkyMiles American Express Card to complete the in-flight purchase. Please allow 6–8 weeks after an eligible transaction is charged to the Card Account for the statement credit to be posted to the Account. American Express also relies on information provided to us by the merchant to identify eligible purchases. If American Express does not receive information that identifies the transaction as an eligible purchase, the Basic Card Member will not receive the statement credit. Only one statement credit per transaction will be issued.
To be eligible for this benefit, Card Account(s) must not be canceled and not past due at the time of statement credit fulfillment. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide statement credits and may reverse any statement credits provided to you.
Additional terms, conditions, and restrictions may apply. See http://delta.com/amex for details.
8No Foreign Transaction Fees
American Express will not charge any foreign transaction fee on the purchases you make outside of the United States with your Card. However, there may be circumstances where ATMs or merchants charge a fee on foreign transactions.
9$240 Resy Credit
Enrollment through American Express is required to receive this benefit. Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on a Delta SkyMiles Reserve or Reserve Business American Express Card Account can enroll in the benefit in the Benefits section of their americanexpress.com online account or by calling the number on the back of their Card. Enrolled Basic Card Members can earn up to $20 in statement credits each month when the Basic Card or Additional Cards on the enrolled Account are used to pay for eligible Resy purchases. However, the total amount of statement credits for eligible Resy purchases will not exceed $20 per month, for a total of up to $240 per calendar year in statement credits across all Cards on the account.
Eligible Resy purchases include purchases made directly from U.S. restaurants that offer reservations on Resy.com and the Resy app and accept American Express® Cards, purchases made directly on Resy.com or in the Resy app, and purchases made via Resy Pay. Restaurants must be live on Resy.com or the Resy app at time of purchase to be eligible for the statement credit and are subject to change at any time. Purchases of Resy OS restaurant management software and Resy-branded American Express® Gift Cards are not eligible. Gift cards purchased at restaurants or purchases made on-site at events when the restaurant uses a third-party to process or submit the transaction to American Express (e.g. restaurant invites an outside merchant/non-Resy restaurant to sell goods at the event) also may not receive the statement credit.
Please allow up to 8 weeks after an eligible Resy purchase is charged to the enrolled Card Account for statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account. Please call the number on the back of the Card if statement credits have not posted after 8 weeks from the date of purchase. American Express relies on the merchant's processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. If there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to American Express or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date, then you may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which you made the purchase. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31st but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1st, the January statement credit would be applied if available. If you have transferred to a different Card at the time the merchant submits the transaction, you may not receive the statement credit. Statement credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if an eligible purchase is returned, refunded, cancelled, or modified.
American Express also relies on information provided to us by the merchant to identify eligible purchases. If American Express does not receive information that identifies the transaction as an eligible purchase, the Account will not receive the statement credit. For example, the transaction may not be eligible if: it is not made directly with the merchant, it is made at a merchant located within another establishment (e.g. a restaurant inside a hotel or department store), it is for a non-dining purchase (e.g. Resy-branded American Express® gift cards or merchandise that features Resy branding or is sold at Resy restaurants), the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit the transaction to American Express (e.g. using mobile or wireless card readers) or you make a purchase using a third-party (e.g. a third-party payment platform or food delivery service).
If the Card Account is cancelled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide statement credits and may reverse any statement credits provided to you. If your Card is enrolled in the benefit and you replace your Card, please check the Benefits section of your americanexpress.com account, mobile app or call the number on the back of your Card to confirm your continued enrollment in the benefit. For additional information, call the number on the back of your Card.
10$250 Delta Stays Credit
Basic Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business American Express Card Members can earn up to $250 in statement credits per calendar year when a Basic Card or an Additional Card on the Account is used to pay for a new Delta Stays prepaid hotel or vacation rental booking on the Delta Stays platform (delta.com/stays) (each, an “Eligible Delta Stays Booking”).
Purchases by both the Basic Card Member and any Additional Card Members on the Card Account are eligible for statement credits. However, the total amount of statement credits for Eligible Delta Stays Bookings will not exceed $250 on the Card Account per calendar year. Eligible Delta Stays Booking does not include interest charges, cancellation fees, property fees, resort fees, or other similar fees or any charges by a property to you (whether for your booking, your stay or otherwise). American Express relies on the merchant’s processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. The transaction date may differ from the date you made the purchase if, for example, there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date. This means that in some cases your purchase may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which you made the purchase. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31st but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1st, the January statement credit would be applied. For additional information on Delta Stays, visit delta.com/stays. The Delta Stays program is subject to change, and American Express has no control over those changes. Bookings through Delta Vacations and products other than prepaid hotels and vacation rentals booked through Delta Stays will not qualify for statement credits. Statement credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if the booking is refunded, cancelled or modified. Please allow up to 90 days after an eligible charge is posted to the Card Account for the applicable statement credits to be posted to the Card Account. Call the number on the back of the Card if statement credits have not posted by that time, or for additional information. To be eligible for this benefit, the Card Account must not be cancelled or past due at the time of statement credit fulfillment. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as eligible, the Basic Card Member will not receive the statement credits. Prepaid hotels and vacation rentals available through the Delta Stays platform are subject to change. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide and may reverse any statement credits provided to you.
11$120 Rideshare Credit
Enrollment through American Express is required to receive this benefit. Only Basic Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business American Express Card Members or Authorized Account Manager(s) can enroll in the benefit in the Benefits section of their americanexpress.com online account or by calling the number on the back of their Card. Please note, enrollment may take up to 24 hours to take effect on your Card. Enrolled Basic Card Members can earn up to $10 in statement credits per month when the Basic Card or Additional Cards on the enrolled Account are used to make eligible purchases in the U.S. with the following rideshare services: Uber, Lyft, Curb, Revel and Alto, which are subject to change. However, each enrolled Card Account is only eligible for up to $10 in statement credits per month, for a total of up to $120 per calendar year, per Card Account.
Eligible purchases are for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, purchases of traveler's checks, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person payments, or purchases of any cash equivalents. Eligible purchases do not include delivery services (for example, food, packages, groceries, pet food, toys or retail clothing), bikeshare, scooter, car rental, transit, membership or any other non-rideshare services offered by the rideshare providers. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks after an eligible purchase is charged to the enrolled Card Account for statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account. Please call the number on the back of the Card if statement credits have not posted after 8 weeks from the date of purchase. American Express relies on the merchant’s processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. If there is a delay in the merchant submitting the transaction to us or if the merchant uses another date as the transaction date then your purchase may not earn the statement credit benefit for the benefit period in which you made the purchase. For example, if an eligible purchase is made on December 31st but the merchant processes the transaction such that it is identified to us as occurring on January 1st, the January statement credit would be applied. If you have transferred to a different Card at the time the merchant submits the transaction, you may not receive the statement credit. Statement credits may not be received or may be reversed if the purchase is cancelled or modified.
American Express also relies on information provided to us by the merchant to identify eligible purchases. If American Express does not receive information that identifies the transaction as an eligible purchase, the Basic Card Member will not receive the statement credit. In most cases, the Basic Card Member may not receive the statement credit if the transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it.
To be eligible for this benefit, the Card Account must not be cancelled or past due at the time of statement credit fulfillment. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide statement credits and may reverse any statement credits provided to you. If your Card is enrolled in the benefit and you replace your Card, please check the Benefits section of your americanexpress.com account, mobile app or call the number on the back of your Card to confirm your continued enrollment in the benefit.

American Express Concierge may perform select services at your request and on your behalf that are limited to: (i) purchasing of available event tickets, (ii) making of available dining or other reservations (which may include, for example, spa or golf), (iii) general travel-related inquiries, and (iv) shopping requests (which may include, for example, sending of flowers or gifts); in each case, as deemed reasonable by American Express. You are responsible for all purchases and associated taxes and fees (including, without limitation, shipping fees) that Concierge makes at your request and on your behalf. You acknowledge that if you make a request through Concierge: (i) American Express is placing that request on your behalf, and (ii) the goods and/or services you requested will be provided by third parties and American Express is not liable for any injury to person or property caused by such third parties or the goods and/or services requested. 13Miles on Eligible Purchases
1x Mile on eligible purchases: Basic Card Members will earn 1 mile for each dollar of eligible purchases charged on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account.
2x Miles at U.S. Supermarkets: Basic Card Members will earn 1 additional mile (for a total of 2 miles) for each dollar of eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account charged at supermarkets located in the United States. Superstores, convenience stores, warehouse clubs, and meal-kit delivery services are not considered supermarkets.
2x Miles at Restaurants: Basic Card Members will earn 1 additional mile (for a total of 2 miles) for each dollar of eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account charged at restaurants worldwide. Basic Card Members may not get additional miles for purchases at a restaurant located within another establishment (e.g., a restaurant located inside a hotel, casino, or event venue) or for purchases made through third-party food delivery services outside of the U.S. For example, purchases made at a restaurant located within a hotel may be recognized as a purchase at a hotel, not a restaurant. Basic Card Members will not earn additional miles for purchases at bars, nightclubs, cafeterias, and convenience stores.
3x Miles at Hotels: Basic Card Members will earn 2 additional miles (for a total of 3 miles) for each dollar of eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account charged directly with hotels worldwide. Basic Card Members will earn additional miles when the Card is used to pay the hotel directly (e.g., upon check-in or check-out) for a hotel stay that was reserved with a third party, such as an online travel agent. Basic Card Members will not earn additional miles if the hotel is prepaid with a third party, such as an online travel agent, or as a part of a vacation package. Basic Card Members may not get additional miles for purchases at establishments located inside hotels such as timeshares, spas, restaurants, meeting rooms, event spaces and banquet halls. Basic Card Members may earn additional miles for incidental charges made directly on the hotel property (including charges made at restaurants, spas, and other establishments), when purchases are charged to the room and paid for with the Card at checkout.
3x Miles on Delta Purchases: Basic Card Members will earn 2 additional miles (for a total of 3 miles) on each dollar of eligible purchases on their Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account charged directly with Delta where Delta is the merchant of record, such as purchases via delta.com, the Fly Delta app, phone reservations, or ticket counters, for upgrades, miles, seat selection, Delta Sky Club® membership and in-flight purchases of food and beverages on Delta-operated flights (“Delta Purchases”).
Eligible purchases do NOT include fees or interest charges, cash advances, purchases of travelers’ checks, purchases of gift cards, person-to-person transactions, purchases or reloading of prepaid cards or purchases of other cash equivalents.
14Platinum MQD Boost
Effective January 1, 2024: Basic Card Members will earn one (1) Medallion Qualification Dollar (MQD) for each $20 of eligible purchases charged to their Delta SkyMiles® Platinum and Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card or any Additional Cards on the Card Account during a Qualification Year.
Medallion Status Qualification and Medallion Benefits rules and policies apply and may be viewed at delta.com/medallion.
MQDs will be deducted from the MQD Balance (and may result in a negative MQD Balance) for any returns or other credits, and Delta reserves the right to adjust, remove, or suspend Medallion Status if you return, reverse or charge back eligible purchases in a way that reduces your MQD balance below the threshold of any Medallion Tier for the preceding Qualification Year. To receive the MQDs, your account must not be canceled or past due at the time the MQDs are posted to your account. If Delta and/or American Express determine that you have engaged in abuse, misuse or gaming in connection with this MQD Benefit in any way or that you intend to do so, Delta may not credit, Delta may freeze or Delta may take away MQDs from your account or terminate your participation in the SkyMiles Program.
15$120 Resy Credit
Enrollment through American Express is required to receive this benefit. Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on a Delta SkyMiles Platinum or Platinum Business American Express Card Account can enroll in the benefit in the Benefits section of their americanexpress.com online account or by calling the number on the back of their Card. Enrolled Basic Card Members can earn up to $10 in statement credits each month when the Basic Card or Additional Cards on the enrolled Account are used to pay for eligible Resy purchases. However, the total amount of statement credits for eligible Resy purchases will not exceed $10 per month, for a total of up to $120 per calendar year in statement credits across all Cards on the account.
American Express relies on the merchant’s processing of transactions to determine the transaction date. Statement credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if an eligible purchase is returned, refunded, cancelled or modified.
Resy-branded American Express® gift cards or merchandise that features Resy branding or is sold at Resy restaurants), the merchant uses a third-party to process or submit the transaction to American Express (e.g. using mobile or wireless card readers), or you make a purchase using a third-party (e.g. a third-party payment platform or food delivery service).
16$200 Delta Stays Credit
Basic Delta SkyMiles Platinum Business American Express Card Members can earn up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year when a Basic Card or an Additional Card on the Account is used to pay for a new Delta Stays prepaid hotel or vacation rental booking on the Delta Stays platform(delta.com/stays) (each, an “Eligible Delta Stays Booking”).
Purchases by both the Basic Card Member and any Additional Card Members on the Card Account are eligible for statement credits. However, the total amount of statement credits for Eligible Delta Stays Bookings will not exceed $200 on the Card Account per calendar year. Eligible Delta Stays Booking does not include interest charges, cancellation fees, property fees, resort fees, or other similar fees, or any charges by a property to you (whether for your booking, your stay or otherwise). Statement credit(s) may not be received or may be reversed if the booking is refunded, cancelled, or modified. If American Express, in its sole discretion, determines that you have engaged in or intend to engage in any manner of abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this benefit, American Express will not have an obligation to provide and may reverse any statement credits provided to you.
