Amex Travel™ has expanded its global hotel programs, adding more than 350 premium hotels with benefits for Platinum Card® Members.

Each year, more than 1,000 properties from around the world apply to join Fine Hotels + Resorts® and The Hotel Collection programs. The Amex Travel™ curation team carefully vets their applications, evaluating the level of service, accommodations, and amenities, along with the ability to create meaningful guest experiences.
For the 35th anniversary of Fine Hotels + Resorts® in 2026, Amex Travel selected 350-plus properties, bringing the combined portfolio to more than 3,400 hotels across 116 countries—and giving Card Members access to rewarding stays for a wider variety of travel styles.
The latest additions can be found in celebrated destinations such as Tokyo, Beverly Hills, and Lake Como, along with lesser-known locales like Portugal’s Alentejo region, Australia’s Whitsundays, and Mérida, Mexico.
Remember, you can get up to $300 in statement credits semi-annually for up to a total of $600 in statement credits per calendar year on prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts® or prepaid The Hotel Collection1 bookings through Amex Travel using your Platinum Card®*.
