For the Love of Farming

Danish Agricultural Innovation with Søren Wiuff

This tour provides you with an introduction to an innovative way of farming, courtesy of your renowned host, Søren Wiuff. He is known amongst Copenhagen natives for his gastronomy, and in particular, his famous batch of white asparagus grown each year.

Wiuff has a unique approach to farming; rather than considering himself an organic farmer, he describes his method as a trust in the power of nature's own willfulness. Wiuff finds that breaking from convention and allowing nature to take its course has been beneficial for his produce. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside Wiuff on this private tour, feeling the soil between your hands and assisting him with the harvest. After a long day’s work, you’ll be able to taste the produce for yourself, understanding the benefit of Wiuff’s laissez faire approach.

A duck house sits in the middle of a pond. Nearby are half-timbered houses and a park set with picnic tables and benches.

Mysteries of Distant Past

Behind-the-Scenes Tour of Moesgaard Museum with a Curator

Embark on a private guided, behind-the-scenes tour of the renowned Moesgaard Museum located outside of Aarhus. This awe-inspiring museum has a grass covered roof where visitors can enjoy views of the forest and ocean, seamlessly blending into the rugged beauty of the surrounding landscape. Despite the contemporary museum façade, the private guided tour will take you on a journey to the country’s distant past. The halls of Moesgaard Museum reveal a stunning collection of artifacts from Denmark’s prehistoric times. Guided by a private curator, visit areas of the museum typically unavailable to the public and hear lesser-known stories about Denmark’s history.

Afterward, head to Skovmøllen on the outskirts of Aarhus just in time for lunch. Located in a forest, the restaurant offers tranquil surroundings and a menu featuring a blend of traditional and modern dishes.
