You should read these General Offer Terms together with the Offer Terms that apply to your specific offer. If the Offer Terms are inconsistent with the General Offer Terms, then the Offer Terms will apply.

A. Where to find your Offer Terms                                                                                                                                                                                                                


After you register for the offer, you can continue to access the offer description and terms until the end of the offer period as follows:


  • access the Amex Offers section in your online services account centre;    
  • access the Offers section in your Amex App and selecting “My Offers”; or
  • revisit the email or page from where you saved the offer to your Card.

B. Statement credits and points


If your Card is suspended or cancelled, we will not award statement credits or points to you, even if
you have met the offer spend conditions.


We can reverse any statement credits or points that have been awarded if:


  • an eligible transaction is subsequently cancelled or refunded; or
  • we discover or reasonably suspect any fraud or other criminal activity, breach of the Offer Terms, or any serious misuse (as explained below).

Any reversal may take place up to a maximum of 180 days after the offer campaign end date. If a statement credit is reversed after you have paid your bill, your Card account may be returned to a negative balance. If points are reversed, this may result in you having a negative points balance.

C. Cancelling your participation in the offer


We can cancel your participation in the offer if you do not pay your monthly payment shown on your Card account statement on time.

D. Fraud, misuse and glitches           


We can suspend or cancel the offer if technical failure or any other factors outside our control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the offer and this may result in any loss or damage to us.


If we discover or reasonably suspect any fraud or other criminal activity, breach of the Offer Terms, or any serious misuse (as reasonably determined by us) relating to your redemption of American Express Offers or any previous American Express Offers and promotions, we can:


  • disqualify you from all current and future offers; and/or
  • reverse any statement credit or points that have been awarded.

E. Changes


We can change any of the terms of any offer before you save the offer to your Card.

F. Law

The terms of the offer are governed by English law and the court of England will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over us and you.
