2. Complimentary Fashion Credit with NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER.
- The redemption periods are between 04 January 2022 - 30 June 2022, 1 July 2022 - 31 December 2022, 1 January 2023 - 30 June 2023 and between 1 July 2023 - 31 December 2023. Limited to a maximum of two credits at a total of $150 each year, per Card.
- Benefit is limited to one credit of up to $75 each redemption period, per Card.
- Your Card must be charged prior to the end of each redemption period to be eligible for the credit in the redemption period.
- Additional Cards are not eligible for this Benefit. Spend made on additional Cards will not qualify for the Credit.
- Not all Cards are eligible for this Benefit. If a Card you hold is ineligible, you will not be able to see the benefit, nor will you be able to save the Benefit to the Card.

You may be able to use the Travel Credit on the American Express Travel website towards Fine Hotels + Resorts and the Hotel Collection, if the selected hotel and room type provides you the option to prepay in advance. Benefit available for the Primary Card Member only to redeem in a single booking. For bookings less than $450, any unused portion of the Travel Credit will be forfeited. The Travel Credit cannot be carried forward to any subsequent year. 5. The American Express Global Lounge Collection: The Centurion Lounge Network. Platinum Card Members have unlimited complimentary access to The Centurion Lounge locations. Gold Card and Green Card Additional Cards on your Account are not eligible for unlimited complimentary access. Platinum Card Members may bring up to two (2) companions into The Centurion Lounge. Children under 2 years of age can access the lounge free of charge, provided an accompanying parent or guardian is able to produce a “lap infant” boarding pass or proof of age. To access The Centurion Lounge, the Platinum Card Member must present The Centurion Lounge agent with the following upon each visit: his or her valid Card and upon request, same-day airline ticket on any carrier and a government-issued I.D. Where can I use my Card?

1. Membership Rewards. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards program available at americanexpress.com/en-au/rewards/membership-rewards/terms. Government transactions will earn 1 point per dollar spent with Merchants classified as "government", including the Australian Taxation Office, the Australian Postal Corporation (Australia Post), Federal/State and Local Government bodies. Industry specific earn rate may apply when you use a payment account, payment aggregator, services of a third party or online retailers that sell goods for another merchant. For example a payment made to Local Government bodies processed through a payment aggregator may earn rates at the government earn rate.
2. Additional Cards. Additional Card Members must be 16 years of age or over. Additional Card Members were previously referred to as “Supplementary Card Members”. The Primary Card Member will be liable to pay for all transactions made by Additional Card Members.
3. Refer a friend. American Express discourages spamming. You should only send referral messages to friends and family who genuinely want to receive them. Subject to 'Refer a Friend' Terms and Conditions available here. In order to be eligible for bonus points, your friend must apply using the referral link you send them. If your friend applies from a separate link or applies independently you will not receive bonus points. You cannot refer a friend who already has one of our Cards or has held one in the last 18 months and you will only receive the Bonus Points if your friend's Card application is approved. You may only send referral messages to a maximum of 20 friends and the amount of Bonus Points you may receive under the ‘Refer a Friend’ program is capped at 200,000 points per year.
4. Points transfer. Subject to the terms and conditions of the Membership Rewards program available at americanexpress.com.au/membershiprewardsplatinum. To transfer Membership Rewards points into an airline rewards or frequent guest partner program you must be a member of the partner program. Membership of the partner program is the Card Member’s responsibility and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable program. A joining fee may apply.
5. Platinum Travel Service. All fees or amounts payable in relation to the services are inclusive of GST where applicable. All fees, taxes and charges levied by the travel providers and/or air travel suppliers still apply and these are subject to change without notice until such time as tickets are issued. 6. Select and Pay with Points. This is available to primary Card Members enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Minimum redemption amounts apply. Any credit to your Card Account cannot exceed the amount of the relevant Eligible Charges or the current outstanding balance on your Account. Certain fees and charges are excluded. Points will be debited immediately and the credit can take up to 72 hours to appear online. Credits processed after the Card account’s statement closing date will appear in the following statement. You are still responsible for payment of the amount due on your Card account by the due date. Subject to the Membership Rewards Terms & Conditions at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions.
7. Shop with Points - David Jones. Subject to the terms and conditions of the American Express Membership Rewards program available at membershiprewards.com.au/termsandconditions and the David Jones Terms and Conditions available at davidjones.com.au Terms and conditions apply to all Membership Rewards redemption options and redemption is subject to availability. Subject to your Account being kept in good standing and not overdue. Only American Express Cards issued by American Express Australia Limited are eligible provided they are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Your Platinum Insurance includes Smartphone Screen Cover, which provides cover for up to $500 when you pay for your smartphone with your Platinum Card, either outright or on a monthly contract1.
