How secure is my information?

Your account data can only be accessed using your User ID and Password. To further improve security you may also choose to set a passcode for your device as a further precaution.

 

For additional protection, you can enrol in two-step verification and/or biometric log-in through the American Express® App or your Online Services account. Terms apply.

 

Online Services: 

1. Log in and navigate to the 'Manage Accounts' tab 

2. Select 'Security and Privacy' 

3. Select 'Manage Two-Step Verification' 

 

Amex App: 

1. Log in and go to 'Account' 

2. Select 'Two-Step Verification' and/or 'Face ID' (on iOS) or 'Biometric Login' (on Android).
