How do I confirm that my payment was processed?
- Go to Overview
- In the Transactions list, look for the “Payment Received” status displayed in green to confirm your payment has been processed
- To receive Push Notifications:
- Go to Account → Settings → Push Notifications
- Enable Payment Received
- If you are the Basic Cardmember, log in to your Online Services Account to confirm whether your payment has been posted to your Account.
- To receive payment confirmation alerts:
- Go to the Manage Accounts tab
- Select Communication Preferences → Account Alerts
- Set up email or text notifications
Note:
Processing times vary depending on your payment method and financial institution. Payments may be processed the same day or take up to five business days. Fees and timelines may vary. Payments are credited once received by AMEX Bank of Canada.
