How to pay your Business Card Balance
Card repayments pay back the money you’ve spent on your Card – and when it comes to
making these payments, you’ve got choices.
This feature is only available to American Express® Business Platinum Card and American Express® Business Gold Card Members in the United Kingdom.
Choose your
repayment option
When your statement arrives, you’ll have a choice of repayment. To avoid paying interest, you can pay off the entire Card
balance on, or before, the statement due date. Or you can choose to spread your Card repayments over time by paying at
least the minimum monthly repayment amount – this means you’ll pay interest.
Total Balance
When making a manual payment, you can pay off the full balance of your Card, without incurring interest.
Fixed Amount
This is the amount determined by you. If you have a Direct Debit set up and the minimum repayment figure is higher than the fixed amount, the minimum due will be collected.
Minimum Due
This is the minimum repayment due, as shown on your statement.

Due in Full
This is any amount over the Flexible Payment Option Credit Limit (FPO Credit Limit).
Minimum Due
This is the minimum repayment required within your FPO Credit Limit balance.
Minimum repayment
This is the minimum amount you must pay to avoid defaulting (includes both your Due in Full balance and your FPO Credit Limit Minimum Due balance). Only paying this amount will incur interest charges.
