FAQ's about the change of the travel insurance provider
Europ Assistance will replace AXA as your travel insurance provider and will continue to support you while travelling for business.
From January 1st, 2025, Europ Assistance will assist you 24/7 in more than 200 countries and territories through a network of 750,000 accredited partners and 57 assistance centres.
No, there is no action for you to take.
No, your insurance cover and benefits will stay the same.
You can find details of your benefits in your Insurance Terms and Conditions.
If you need to make a new claim from January 1st, 2025, onwards, this will be handled by Europ Assistance through the Europ Assistance Travel Protection website or by phone. They will make sure your claim is assessed and handled by the correct insurer. Europ Assistance may need to transfer you to AXA for some claim types with an incident prior to December 31st, 2024.
AXA will continue to manage any existing claims logged with them prior to December 31st, 2024, and you will still be able to contact them via phone.
Please refer to your T&Cs for information about how to claim. You will continue to be insured by your Card throughout this transition period.
From January 1st, 2025, you can go to the insurance portal and create an online account at Europ Assistance. You will receive more information on this topic at the end of the year.
