*As used by American Express, “Google Pay” is the Google service that allows you to add a digital version of your eligible American Express Card (including physical card art) to the Google Pay app on your compatible device. You can use this digital version of your Card on your device to make purchases at participating merchants through (i) contactless terminals in the US, (ii) in-app and (iii) online. As used by American Express, “Google Pay” does not include making purchases with an eligible American Express Card in Google Payments or other Google properties even if also branded by Google as Google Pay. To make a payment with the digital version of an eligible American Express Card (added to your device) in Google Pay, select the payment method at checkout that displays the card art of your eligible Card. See Terms of Use and FAQs for more information.
