Amex Offers™ is a program that gives eligible American Express® Card Members the opportunity to earn statement credits, Membership Rewards® points, and other rewards when shopping with participating brands.
To redeem an offer, you must first add it to your eligible Card and then make a qualifying purchase with the participating merchant.
Participation in Amex Offers is subject to the Amex Offers Program Terms, and the specific terms and conditions for each individual offer.
Steps to add an offer:
- Log in to your American Express account online or through the mobile app.
- Go to the Amex Offers section.
- Click Add to Card (or tap the plus sign).
After adding the offer to your eligible Card, use that same enrolled Card to make a qualifying purchase directly with the participating merchant.
Purchases must:
- Be made in U.S. dollars.
- Follow the specific terms of the offer (e.g., minimum spend, online-only purchases, or purchase by a certain date).
If your purchase qualifies, you’ll typically see the reward (such as a statement credit or Membership Rewards® points) within 30 days of spend. In some cases, it may take up to 90 days, depending on the merchant.
A qualifying purchase is a transaction made with your enrolled, eligible American Express® Card that meets the specific terms of an offer. These terms vary by offer, so it’s important to read them carefully before you spend.
In general, a qualifying purchase means:
- Direct purchases only: You must buy directly from the participating merchant. Purchases made through third parties (such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries) do not qualify.
- Offer requirements must be met: Some offers may require shopping online, spending a minimum amount, or making a purchase within a set timeframe.
- Net purchases count: Returns, refunds, or credits reduce your qualifying total and may affect your eligibility.
- Exclusions apply: Certain items (such as fees, interest charges, gift cards, and other cash equivalents) are typically not considered qualifying purchases.
You can add multiple Amex Offers to your eligible American Express® Card. However, keep in mind:
- Enrollment may be limited: Some offers are available only while supplies last.
- Offers can expire: Each offer has its own expiration date.
- Availability may change: Offers can be removed at any time, so it’s best to add them as soon as you see one you like.
It depends on the offer. Some Amex Offers can be redeemed multiple times, while others are valid for a single use only. Always review the offer’s terms to confirm how many times it can be used.

Not all Card Members are eligible for every Amex Offer. Eligibility depends on factors such as your Card type and account status. Some offers may also be targeted based on your spending habits or preferences.
To view the offers available to you, simply log in to your American Express® account and check the Amex Offers section.
Amex Offers are dynamic, and can change frequently. Some offers are available for a limited time or have limited enrollments available. If you didn’t add the offer when you saw it, it may no longer be available due to expiration or reaching its enrollment limit.
To avoid missing out, add offers to your Card as soon as you see one you’re interested in. Once added, it will remain on your Card until it expires or is used, depending on the offer terms.
Each Amex Offer has a specific expiration date, shown in the offer details. Once that date passes, the offer can no longer be redeemed, even if you had previously added it to your Card.
If you have multiple eligible Cards, you can only add a specific Amex Offer to one Card. Each offer can be added once, and it cannot be shared across multiple Cards. Offers must be added to each eligible Card individually, and availability may differ from Card to Card.
Keep in mind, the Amex Offers available to you may vary by Card, so you might see different offers listed for each Card in your online account.

No. To receive a statement credit or points, you must add the offer to your Card before making the qualifying purchase with that same Card. Purchases made prior to enrollment do not qualify.
Yes. Eligible Additional Card Members can add and redeem Amex Offers on their Cards, though availability may vary by Card. If both the Basic Card Member and an Additional Card Member enroll in the same offer, qualifying purchases made on each enrolled Card can earn rewards. All rewards (such as statement credits or Membership Rewards® points) will be credited to the Basic Card Member’s account.
If you return, cancel, or receive a refund for your purchase, the statement credit or points you earned may be reversed.
Some offers exclude gift cards and cash equivalents. Check the individual offer’s terms for details.
Only purchases made with the specific Card enrolled in the offer qualify. Transactions on another Card, even if it’s on the same account, won’t earn rewards from Amex Offers.
Log in to your American Express account (online or in the app) and go to the Amex Offers section. Offers you’ve already added will appear under your enrolled list.
