Governance Reporting

The financial statements of the following companies contain disclosures that were introduced by The Companies (Miscellaneous Reporting) Regulations 2018. They include Directors disclosures on how the matters set out in  section 172(1) (A) to (F) of the CA 2006 (‘S172’) have been considered whilst promoting the success of the Company under S172. This includes how Directors have considered the interests of key stakeholders as well as  the companies’ engagement with employees, suppliers, customers and others in a business relationship with the companies. Additional disclosures relating to corporate governance arrangements are also included in the financial statements of American Express Services Europe Limited. The disclosures contained in the financial statements focus on the matters of strategic importance to American Express, and the level of information disclosed is consistent with the size and complexity of each business on an individual basis.
