If my application for a Card was declined, can I appeal the decision or re-apply?

If your Card application was declined, we realize this may not have been the outcome you had hoped for. Please call us at 1-800-567-1083 if you'd like us to review our decision. Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee we will change our decision.  

It's been our experience that applicants who were not approved for a new account at one time may qualify in the future. We welcome you to apply for any of our American Express Cards, but please wait at least 30 days from the date you received the decline letter before submitting a new application.
