Why didn’t my charge appear in Pending Transactions?
Charges may not appear as ‘pending’ if they’re:
- Made in a foreign currency
- Made using Chip and PIN & Contactless payments
- A Direct Debit (such as a phone bill)
- Fees & Charges
- Refunds & Bill Payments
- Not yet submitted to American Express by the Merchant you spent at.
