How is my minimum payment calculated?
For American Express Credit Cards, the minimum payment is set at 2.5% of your closing balance or $30, whichever is greater.
Please note: making only the minimum payment is not recommended as a long-term solution because if you make only the minimum monthly payment, you will pay more interest and it will take you longer to pay off your balance.
