What is a FPO Credit Limit?
A FPO Credit Limit is the maximum balance that you can borrow over time. You can generally spend more than this, however balances more than your FPO Credit Limit are due in full each month.
Your FPO Credit Limit is determined by a few factors:
Your business's
credit history
To understand if you're a reliable borrower, they'll check how you managed other lines of credit and if there are any missed or late payments.
Your current
FPO Credit Limit
This will help you see how much you can borrow on other Cards you own.
Your Income
This will show your lender how much you earn, and more specifically how much you have left each month after paying your bills.
Your Existing Debt
Like mortgages, loans, overdrafts or other Cards.

Here's how FPO Credit Limit works
While it allows you to make payments on your terms, there are things to keep in mind when it comes to spending capacity and purchases you’re able to cover using FPO Credit Limit.
Spending Capacity
With Flexible Payment Option, you have No Pre-set Spending Limit. This is a unique feature that gives you flexible spending capacity. The amount you can spend adapts based on your purchase, payment, and credit history. If you’re unsure a large purchase will be approved, use the Check Spending Power tool in your Online Account or Amex® App.
FPO Credit Limit
While your Card has no spending limit, there is a limit to the total amount you can pay over time – your FPO Credit Limit. When you reach your limit, any spend over will be due in full by your new payment due date.
