Will my Card still work while frozen?
When you freeze your Card, it cannot be used for new purchases. However, some transactions will still go through, including:
- Recurring payments such as subscriptions and monthly bills.
- Digital wallet transactions, like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Online purchases at Merchants where your Card details are already stored.
- Offline and delayed authorisations, such as purchases made in flight.
Freezing or unfreezing your Card takes effect immediately, and there are no limits on how often you can do this.
If you replace your Card while it's frozen, your existing Card will be cancelled, and a new Card will be sent to you. You will need to activate your new Card online before using it.
