Why does my points balance not reflect what I spent in that statement?
The end date of your Membership Rewards statement is usually 4-6 days earlier than the end date of your Card statement. So, if you have earned points during this 4-6 day period, they will be reflected in your next Membership Rewards statement. If you are enrolled in American Express Online Services, you can log in at any time to see your up-to-date balance online.
