How do I set up a Direct Debit for my American Express Card?

You can set up a Direct Debit through the American Express® App, your Online Services Account, or by completing a Direct Debit mandate form. You’ll need your UK bank account details and may be asked for additional authorisation if the account has multiple signatories. Once set up, you’ll receive confirmation, and your statement will show your Direct Debit status.

Online Services:

1. Log in and go to ‘Payments’
2. Select ‘Direct Debit’
3. Enter your bank details and select a payment option
4. Review and confirm

American Express® App:

1. Log in and go to ‘Account’
2. Tap ‘Direct Debit’ > ‘Set up Direct Debit’
3. Select your payment option
4. Enter your bank details and confirm

You’ll receive confirmation once your setup is complete.
