Paying with Pay With Bank Transfer is simple using the Amex® App. When logged in, follow these steps:
1. Tap "Make Payment".
2. Select the amount you'd like to pay.
3. Select "Today" as payment date.
4. Choose your bank,
5. Accept the User Disclosure.
6. Log in to your banking app or web platform.
7. Confirm the account you'd like to pay from.
That’s it! There’s no account setup or Card details required and if you have your bank’s app installed on your phone, you can quickly authenticate using your passcode or biometrics.

You will authenticate yourself directly to your bank using its normal method, and your bank uses your personal information only to verify your identity and confirm sufficient available funds for the payment. Your personal payment information will not be stored by American Express.
