How does a Meeting Card work?

When you implement a Corporate Meeting Card programme for your company, you can make Corporate Meeting Cards available for departments or individuals. Your Account Manager will work with you to customise a programme, determine controls to drive value, and set up data feeds. Custom reporting is available via @ Work and you can use this information to track spending against your budget, set parameters for how much and with whom employees can spend, and negotiate volume discounts with preferred suppliers.

What’s the difference between a Corporate Meeting Card and a standard Credit Card?

Unlike Credit Cards, American Express Corporate Meeting Cards act as a Charge Card. A Charge Card must be paid in full each month and as your spending and repayment patterns evolve, so do your purchase approvals. This can be helpful for some of the large payments often associated with events and meetings, such as venue down payments, keynote speaker fees and group travel costs.
