- 55 Days Interest Free. You will have up to 55 days interest free on purchases provided you pay the full closing balance of your monthly statement by the due date each month. There is no interest free period on balance transfers or if you carry forward a balance from the previous statement period. The total of interest free days will depend on when you make the purchase and when your statement is issued.
- Status Points. You can earn up to half the Status Points you need to reach or maintain your Silver or Gold Airpoints tier status by making purchases on your Credit Card. You need to earn at least 900 Status Points on Air NZ operated flights to change from Gold to Gold Elite, and 810 Status Points on Air NZ operated flights to maintain Gold Elite, and the balance can be earned by making purchases on your Credit Card. 2. With Turbo™, our fast-track Membership Rewards programme, earn an additional point per $1 on all purchases until 31 August 2026. Only purchases are eligible for Membership Rewards points – balance transfers and cash advances are ineligible.
3. There is no expiry on points as long as the Card Account is active, enrolled in Membership Rewards programme and is kept in good standing and not overdue.
4. Points may be redeemed by the Card Member for a credit on the Primary Card Account. American Express may decline a Points for Credit request where the Card Account or Card Member’s other accounts with American Express are not in good standing. The redemption of Points for Credit will be administered solely by American Express within 3 business days and cannot be reversed. Redeeming Points for Credit is not redeemable for cash via Credit balance refund.
5. Extend your cash flow by up to 50 days: Depending on when you make a purchase, when your statement is issued, and whether you are carrying forward a balance on your Account from your previous statement period. If you pay by direct debit, your payment will be processed 14 days after your statement is issued.

Employee Card Members must be over 18 years of age. Prior to 1 August 2023, the Business, the Primary Card Member and each Employee Card Member are jointly and severally liable for all Employee Card spending. On and from 1 August 2023, American Express will be making changes to the Terms and Conditions of American Express Business Card products in New Zealand which will include the removal of the liability of Employee Card Members for charges incurred on their Employee Card. Each employee is entitled to only one (1) Employee Card.

This means that the amount you can spend is dynamic and can adapt based on your transaction patterns, your Business’ credit rating, and other factors.
