 Redemption of complimentary use of Virgin Active’s fitness club at Participating Locations:

1. Eligible American Express Card Member (“Eligible Card Member”) must register between 12.01am on 5 May 2022 and 11.59pm on 5 June 2022 via (https://bit.ly/VA-AMEX) to redeem one (1) complimentary use of the Merchant’s fitness club located at the Participating Locations in Singapore. Each Eligible Card Member with a valid Eligible Card may register for a maximum of one (1) visit for the Eligible Card Member and a guest.
   
2. Physical verification of the valid Eligible Card will be carried out onsite by a representative of Virgin Active (“the Merchant”) prior to entry to the fitness club. The Merchant reserves the right to reject visitors who are unable to present a valid Eligible Card for verification.
   
3. A health check questionnaire is required to be filled in by all attendees prior to participating in the free workout.

Signing up as a member of Virgin Active Singapore: 

1. To enjoy twelve (12) weeks of membership at half price, Eligible Card Members must sign up in person at the Merchant’s Participating Locations during the business hours between 5 May 2022 and 5 June 2022, for Long Termer membership which comprises of either twelve (12) months or twenty-four (24) months membership. 
   
2. To receive three (3) complimentary personal training sessions, Eligible Card Members must sign up in person at the Merchant’s Participating Locations during the business hours between 5 May 2022 and 5 June 2022, for Goal Getter membership subject to a minimum commitment of twelve (12) weeks, or Long Termer membership which comprises of either twelve (12) months or twenty-four (24) months membership.
   
3. To qualify for the offers, joiners must complete Virgin Active’s Long Termer membership (twelve (12) months or twenty-four (24) months membership) or Goal Getter membership (minimum twelve (12) weeks membership) sign up process including provision of ongoing direct debit payment details, health check and payment of prorata and evidence that they are Eligible Card Members. For the avoidance of doubt, the membership sign up process must be done in person at the Merchant’s Participating Locations and payment must be made with any of the Eligible Cards. If the joining member is under eighteen (18) at the time of joining, their parent or guardian will be required to attend the Merchant’s fitness club in person to sign the Merchant’s membership agreement and all associated forms. The offers are available for new members or ex-members whose membership has lapsed for thirty (30) days or more and who satisfy all other offer criteria as may be determined by the Merchant. 
   
4. For the twelve (12) weeks of membership at half price offer, the Merchant will apply the offer to the member’s first full direct debit such that the member will receive six (6) fortnightly membership dues (or freeze fee) payments discounted by 50%. The offer is the equivalent of six (6) weeks of membership dues or freeze fees, as applicable when the discount is being applied. The total minimum commitment shown during the sign up process will not account for the twelve (12) weeks of membership at half price. Total minimum cost of membership varies, depending on the membership type and the Participating Locations, please check in with the Merchant for total minimum commitment value. Unless stated, the offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer and excludes personal training and other services.   
   

General Terms and Conditions of the Promotion:

1. Offer is valid from 5 May to 5 June 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“promotion period”) and Offer (“promotion”) is valid for,
   • Redemption of one (1) complimentary use of the Merchant’s fitness club located at the Participating Locations in Singapore
   • 12 weeks of Virgin Active Singapore membership at half price
     
2. Promotion is valid only when payment is made with a personal Basic and/or Supplementary American Express Card issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore (excluding American Express Corporate Cards, American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited, United Overseas Bank Limited and Citibank Singapore Limited). 
   
3. Promotion cannot be exchange for cash, and is not valid with any other promotion, discount, rebate and/or offer. 
   
4. The Merchant is solely responsible for all products, services, consultations and advice, and fulfillment of the Promotion in accordance with these terms and conditions. American Express is not the provider of any of these products and/or services that are made available pursuant to the Promotion and makes no representation or warranty in relation to such products and/or services.
5. American Express shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), as a result of taking or using the Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
6. American Express and the Merchant reserve the right to change these terms and conditions of the Promotion at any time without prior notice.
7. In the event of any dispute arising from the Promotion, the decision of American Express and the Merchant shall be final.
