- The Promotion is valid for online reservations made from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024 (“Booking period”), for stays between 1 January 2024 to 30 June 2025, both dates inclusive (“Stay period”).
- The Promotion is applicable for booking hotels at participating destinations and designated properties (prepaid room types only, not applicable for pay at the hotel room types) made only through a dedicated landing page at the following website: https://www.hotels.com/amexsg. Bookings made via third parties (including, but not limited to, travel agents, online aggregators or payment processors) are not eligible for the promotion.
- Visit https://sg.hotels.com/lp/b/hotel-exclusions?pos=HCOM_SG&locale=en_SG for full list of non-participating hotels. Participating hotels are subject to change at any time.
- Enter Coupon code (“AMEX8”) when making booking to enjoy the Promotion. The Coupon code is only valid for the first 10,000 bookings made by all customers. Card Members will be able to check if the Coupon code is still valid before completing a booking. There's a limit of one Coupon code per booking.
- The Coupon code can only be used for a maximum of five bookings per user/account and each time it must be used in full. After five bookings, the Coupon code will no longer be valid, even if any of the 5 bookings have been cancelled.
- To use the Coupon code, you must be over 18 years old, and the Coupon code (“AMEX8”) is only applicable to the first room in your booking at participating hotels. You will need to pay the full price for any other rooms. The discount doesn’t apply to any taxes, fees or additional costs.
- The Promotion discount is applicable to hotel room charges only (excluding local taxes, service fees, and additional charges including, without limitation, extra guests, phone calls, cancellation fees, parking, or other charges).
- Property rates and amenities are dynamic and can change depending on the property’s availability and dates selected. Hotel rooms are subject to availability and minimum night stays might be required and varies by properties. Other rules, restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Please refer to the specific participating hotel terms and conditions for details.
- Payments are required to be settled upfront and in full, with an Eligible American Express® Card, at the time of booking to enjoy the Promotion.
- "Eligible American Express® Cards" are qualifying personal Basic and Supplementary American Express® Cards issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore only, including American Express Corporate Cards, American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card and American Express Cards issued by DBS Bank Limited and United Overseas Bank Limited.
- The Coupon code cannot be used for:
- Package bookings i.e. hotel + flight.
- Bookings made through Group Travel Services.
- Bookings paid for at the hotel.
- Bookings paid for in a foreign currency.
- Bookings at non-participating hotels.
- Bookings made prior to receipt of this Coupon Code (“AMEX8”).
- There is a limit of one coupon per booking, and it cannot be combined with other offers. Card Members cannot collect or redeem Rewards nights when using the Coupon code ("AMEX8").
- The Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers or other products and services. The Promotion is non-transferable and non-cumulative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, rewards, loyalty programs, promotions, discounted items, and fixed price items (unless specified).
- The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with the “Collect Nights with Hotels.comTM Rewards” offered by Hotels.com. This means that when you book hotel stays under the Promotion, Card Members cannot collect nights for hotel stays made under the Promotion for the purpose of the Hotels.comTM Rewards.
- Card Members may be asked to present the American Express Card used to make the online purchase for verification purposes during check-in.
- Discounts applied may be nulled if there are any reservation changes made after purchase confirmation. Card Member may be required to pay for the reservation difference, cancellation or change penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges (where applicable).
- Cancellation fee may apply and may vary by hotel property, see individual hotel property terms and conditions for details.
- American Express reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion if any fraud or gaming by users, technical failure or any other factors outside our control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion which may result in any loss or damage to American Express. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any such incident and take reasonable steps to ensure you are not unfairly impacted if the incident is due to something we have done or failed to do. American Express reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual suspected of fraud, gaming the promotion or any breach of the Promotion Terms.
