Promotion Quota:
For Guangzhou Transit:
American Express® RMB cards: twice per card per day, 2,000 discounts per day and 180,000 discounts throughout the promotion period, on a first-come-first-served basis. The promotion will end once the overall quota is exhausted.
American Express® cards issued outside the Mainland China: 27,000 discounts throughout the promotion period, on a first-come-first-served basis. The promotion will end once the overall quota is exhausted.
Applicable Card Type: the American Express-branded cards (excluding American Express® single-network foreign-currency credit cards and dual-network credit cards issued by partners in the Mainland China, and American Express RMB credit cards issued by China Minsheng Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, and China CITIC Bank), as well as mobile devices with the aforementioned American Express cards added.
Promotion Scenarios: Only for ‘tap and go’ service at subway faregates, excluding contactless payment scenarios at automated ticket vending machines at subway concourses, POS terminals and ticket vending machines at service counters.
Transaction Counting Rules: The transaction date, time, payment method, and accounting method are subject to the records in Subway's payment processing system. Subway payments may experience delayed deductions; the actual deduction time recorded by Subway's payment processing system will be used as the basis for discount eligibility.
Transaction or Promotion Exception Handling: If unable to tap card for entry or if the discount is not received after tapping, Cardmembers shall check whether the card is in normal status. No compensation will be provided for failed transactions or missed discounts due to inactivated functions or abnormal card status.
Refund Rules: If a "qualified transaction" is refunded or canceled, the actual amount paid by Cardmembers will be refunded proportionally to the original payment card. The discount (i.e., the promotion quota) for the original transaction will be considered as used and will not be refunded to the Cardmembers. The discount will not be issued if not already granted.
If Cardmembers fail to make the first payment due to card status issues (including but not limited to insufficient balance, frozen card, canceled account, or other abnormal status), subsequent supplemental payments or transactions will not be eligible for the discount.
American Express reserves the right to disqualify Cardmembers from the promotion and cancel any discounts already received if it is determined that Cardmembers enjoy the promotion through improper transactions or other means, or if they violate relevant laws, regulations, or the promotion rules.
Cardmember accounts must be in active and normal status (no overdue payments, frozen, restricted, canceled, or invalid status) to qualify for the discount. If the card is expired, the card number is changed, or the account is in abnormal status, the discount will not be granted.
American Express will not be held responsible for any failure of enjoying the discount due to Cardmembers' own reasons (e.g., card loss or replacement), and no compensation will be provided.

Any disputes related to these goods or services should be resolved directly between the cardholder and the supplier, with no involvement from American Express.
