How it works

1.Choose how to pay.You have three options.

Pay on Invoice.

Approve your invoices in Coupa Pay and they’re automatically grouped into a payment batch. Suppliers receive virtual Cards to process payment.

You’re in control. Transaction details are visible when you approve the payment, so you can stay in control of payment amounts and timing.

Request a Virtual Card.

Once a purchase request is approved, a virtual Card is generated for the buyer to complete the purchase.

It’s easy for both buyers and sellers. With this option, there’s no need for vendor setup. It’s ideal for one-time purchases. For suppliers, it’s the same as processing a traditional Card payment.

Pay on Order.

Create a purchase request. Once approved, a virtual Card is sent to the supplier along with the purchase order.

Make the most of your Card. Paying suppliers at the time of order can help with Card acceptance. This means suppliers can be paid earlier and you can use your billing cycle to help manage your cash flow.

2.View the status of all your payments right within Coupa Pay.

3.All transactions get reconciled automatically to your ERP system.

Coupa Pay is also available in the UK and Australia. Available payment options include Pay on Order, Pay on Invoice, and Request a Card. For more information, contact your America Express or Coupa representative.

Terms & Conditions

To pay a supplier within the Coupa platform, the supplier must be an American Express accepting merchant on the Coupa supplier network and agree to accept American Express virtual Card payments.
