1. Hotels.com “Additional 8% off for first room” promotion (“Promotion”) is valid for online reservations made from 1 March 2020 to 31 December 2021 (“Booking period”), for stays between 1 March 2020 to 31 March 2022, both dates inclusive (“Stay period”).
2. The Promotion is applicable for booking hotels at participating destinations and designated properties (prepaid room types only, not applicable for pay at the hotel room types) made only through a dedicated landing page at the following website: www.hotels.com/amexsg. Bookings made on Hotels.com App or via third parties (including, but not limited to, travel agents, online aggregators or payment processors) are not eligible for the promotion.

4. The Promotion discount is applicable to hotel room charges only (excluding local taxes, service fees, and additional charges including, without limitation, extra guests, phone calls, cancellation fees, parking, or other charges).
5. Property rates and amenities are dynamic and can change depending on the property’s availability and dates selected. Hotel rooms are subject to availability and minimum night stays might be required and varies by properties. Other rules, restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Please refer to the specific participating hotel terms and conditions for details.
6. Payments are required to be settled upfront and in full, with an Eligible American Express® Card, at the time of booking to enjoy the promotion.
7. "Eligible American Express Cards" are qualifying personal Basic and Supplementary American Express Cards issued by American Express International Inc. in Singapore only, including American Express Cards issued by Citibank Singapore Limited, DBS Bank Ltd and United Overseas Bank Limited. American Express Corporate Cards and American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card are not eligible.
8. Card Members are required to use the voucher code (“AMEXYRO”) to enjoy the Promotion discount when booking a participating hotel room. Prior to the completion of the booking, Card Members will be able to check if the Voucher Code (“AMEXYRO”) is valid for the respective properties in their booking. The Voucher Code (“AMEXYRO”) is only applicable to the first room in the booking.
9. The voucher code cannot be used for:
a. Package bookings e.g. hotel + flight.
b. Bookings made through Group Travel Services.
c. Bookings paid for at the hotel.
d. Bookings paid for in a foreign currency.
e. Bookings at non-participating hotels.
f. Bookings made prior to receipt of this Voucher Code (“AMEXYRO”).
10. The Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, vouchers or other products and services.
11. The Promotion is non-transferable and non-cumulative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, rewards, loyalty programs, promotions, discounted items, and fixed price items (unless specified).
12. The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with the “Collect Nights with Hotels.comTM Rewards” offered by Hotels.com. This means that when you book hotel stays under the Promotion, Card Members cannot collect nights for hotel stays made under the Promotion for the purpose of the Hotels.comTM Rewards.
13. Card Members may be asked to present the American Express Card used to make the online purchase for verification purposes during check-in.
14. Discounts applied may be nulled if there are any reservation changes made after purchase confirmation. Card Member may be required to be pay for the reservation difference, cancellation or change penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges (where applicable).

16. American Express reserves the right to suspend or cancel the promotion if any fraud or gaming by users, technical failure or any other factors outside our control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion which may result in any loss or damage to American Express. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any such incident and take reasonable steps to ensure you are not unfairly impacted if the incident is due to something we have done or failed to do. American Express reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual suspected of fraud, gaming the promotion or any breach of the Promotion Terms.
17. American Express acts solely as payment provider and is not responsible or liable in the event that such services, activities or benefits are not provided or fulfilled by the merchant. Fulfilment of the Promotion is the sole responsibility of Hotels.com, L.P. and bookings are subject to Hotels.com’s terms and conditions. Card Members acknowledge that any disputes in relation to the above are to be directed solely to Hotels.com, who is solely responsible in providing such services, activities or benefits.
18. American Express and Hotels.com reserve the right to change the Promotion, or Terms and Conditions at any point of time without prior notice. Should there be any dispute, the decision of American Express and Hotels.com shall be final.
