Mentoring and Business Grant Competition1 

20 successful applicants will receive:

  • A mentor, carefully selected from the Rare Birds high-calibre network of entrepreneurs, business executives and industry leading experts.
  • 2 hours of mentor interaction each month for 12 months- with the option to tailor the structure of these meetings to suit their business.
  • Access to Rare Birds online platform, where they can set goals, track their progress and share insights with other successful applicants.
  • Online mentoring where you can contact and work with your mentor, wherever your business is based.
  • Five of the best entries will also receive a $10,000 Business Grant

What is Rare Birds?


Rare Birds is a platform designed to help business owners grow beyond their expectations through mentoring, quality online resources and community connections. Founded by entrepreneur and Card Member Jo Burston, in 2014, Rare Birds has already made a significant impact:

  • Almost 1900 business owners have been mentored to date.
  • 81% of participants reported business growth post program, with 94% expecting further growth in the next 12 months.*
