What’s more, on the day of the event you can relax before the show in one of our exclusive Card Member Lounges located at the Qudos Bank Arena Sydney, the ICC Sydney Theatre and Brisbane Entertainment Centre. To gain entry, simply show your American Express Card at the door.

Can I purchase American Express Travel Insurance?
Yes, you can purchase American Express Travel Insurance up to the day your journey begins but not after you’ve started travelling.
Single Trip Travel Insurance*: This can be purchased up to 9 months before your journey begins. From the date we confirm your Insurance, you’ll be covered for loss of deposits and cancellation charges – however, all other cover will start from the date your journey begins and continue up until the final date indicated on your policy.
Annual Multi-Trip Insurance*: This cover can be arranged up to 45 days before your first journey’s start date. Cover for loss of deposits and cancellation charges commences from when we agree to provide Insurance – with all other cover starting from the start date of your first journey or the latest renewal date, whichever is the latest. Cover continues until the end of your period of Insurance, one year after the start date, as indicated on your policy.

Are pre-existing medical conditions covered with Travel Insurance?
You will not be covered for any claim arising directly or indirectly from a Pre-Existing Medical Condition. However, some Pre-Existing Medical Conditions are covered if they are listed as an Approved Medical Condition, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the Policy. A list of Approved Medical Conditions are outlined on pages 7-8 of our Product Disclosure Statement (PDS).
Is there a maximum travel period that American Express Single Trip Travel Insurance will cover?
Yes. The maximum journey period for Single Trip Travel Insurance is 365 consecutive days.

Yes. The maximum journey period will depend on the option you select when choosing your cover. You can select up to 30, 45, or 60 consecutive days per journey.
How does Smartphone Screen Insurance work?
Accidently smashed your Smartphone screen? With Smartphone Screen Insurance, you can claim up to $500 in reimbursement for front screen repairs, when you purchase your phone outright or pay your monthly phone contract using an eligible American Express Card.
Please note: A 10% Excess will apply to the repair cost, a 30 day waiting period applies and repair reimbursements are limited to two eligible claims per year.

What is Purchase Protection?
Some American Express Cards provide 90 days of cover for the loss, theft or damage of eligible purchases made on your American Express Card*. Eligible Cards which include Purchase Protection Cover provides cover for eligible purchases up to $3,500 per event or a total of $30,000 per year.

If you’re refused a refund on an unused item, the complimentary 90-days Refund Protection Cover can help. If the purchase has been made using an eligible American Express Card and the Retailer will not take it back, you can return it to Us and we’ll reimburse you for the cost of the purchase*.

How do I make an Insurance claim?
Non-emergency claims: These should be made via the Chubb online claims website within 30 days of a claim event, or as soon as reasonably practicable.
