You can receive up to $1000 in coverage (aggregate maximum with Baggage Delay Insurance) for necessary and reasonable accommodations, restaurant expenses and sundry items purchased within 48 hours when delayed or denied boarding for four hours or more and no alternate transportation is made available when you fully charge your airline ticket to your American Express Corporate Platinum Card.
Hotel/Motel Burglary Insurance20†

Car Rental Theft and Damage Insurance21†
You can be covered for theft, loss and damage of your rental car with an MSRP of up to $85,000 for rentals of 48 days or less when you fully charge your rental to your American Express Corporate Platinum Card. 1. The Centurion® Lounge: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to all locations of The Centurion Lounge. Corporate Gold and Corporate Green Cards are not eligible for complimentary access. Cardmembers may bring up to two (2) companions into The Centurion Lounge. Children under 2 years of age are not considered companions and will be admitted free of charge, provided an accompanying parent or guardian is able to produce a “lap infant” boarding pass or proof of age. To access The Centurion Lounge, the Corporate Platinum Cardmember must present The Centurion Lounge agent with the following upon each visit: his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel on any carrier and a government-issued I.D. Failure to present this documentation may result in access being denied. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will only be granted access to the lounge within 3 hours of boarding pass departure time. This does not apply to Cardmembers with a same-day connecting flight who can access the lounge any time prior to departure of their connecting flight with proof of boarding pass. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will not be granted access to the lounge with a boarding pass for a flight that has landed as the final destination. To access a lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum
Cardmember/guest(s). International Plaza Premium Lounges, maximum of 2-hour stay. House rules, terms and conditions apply. Lounge access is subject to availability. Delta Sky Club®: The Corporate Platinum Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, government-issued I.D., and same-day corresponding Delta airline ticket to the club ambassador. Access to Delta Sky Club partner lounges is not permitted. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to access Delta Sky Club, and 21 years of age to access locations with a self-service bar, unless accompanied by a responsible, supervising adult who has access to the lounge. Cardmembers must adhere to all House Rules of participating clubs. Participating airport clubs and locations subject to change without notice. Additional guest access and fees subject to terms and conditions of participating airport clubs. Guests must also provide the club ambassador with a same-day corresponding Delta airline ticket before entering the lounge. 5. Airspace Lounges: This benefit is available to Corporate Platinum Cardmembers. Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, government-issued I.D. and confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel. In some cases, Cardmember must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. The Cardmember may bring up to two companions into the club as complimentary guests per visit. Cardmember must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Cardmembers and his or her guests will receive all of the complimentary benefits and amenities afforded to the Airspace Lounge customers, as well as access to purchase non-complimentary items. Some product features may be subject to additional charges. Airspace Lounge locations are subject to change.
6. Escape Lounges: This benefit is available to Corporate Platinum Cardmembers. Cardmembers receive complimentary access to any US location of the Escape Lounges. Cardmember must present his or her valid Corporate Platinum Card, a boarding pass showing a confirmed reservation for same-day travel on any carrier and government-issued I.D. In some cases, Cardmember must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Cardmembers may bring up to two companions as complimentary guests. Cardmember must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Cardmembers and his or her guests will receive all of the complimentary benefits and amenities afforded to the Escape Lounge customers, as well as access to purchase non-complimentary items. Some product features may be subject to additional charges. Escape Lounge locations are subject to change.
7. Priority Pass™: These Terms and Conditions govern Corporate Platinum Card participation in and use of the Priority Pass program. Priority Pass is an independent airport lounge access program. At any visit to a Priority Pass lounge that admits guests, you may bring in one (1) guest for no charge. Corporate Platinum Cardmembers will be charged for any additional guests. Additional accompanying guests are subject to a usage fee at the
prevailing rate, which is subject to change without prior notice. Some lounges do not admit guests. To enrol, Corporate Platinum Cardmembers must complete the Priority Pass application form provided in their Corporate Platinum Card welcome package or mailed separately to them upon request. By enroling in Priority Pass, you agree that you will be responsible for any additional accompanying guest visits and that your Corporate Platinum Card will be automatically charged after you have signed for the additional guest visit and it has been reported to Priority Pass by the participating lounge. Additionally, American Express will verify your Card account number and provide updated Card account information to Priority Pass. Priority Pass will use this information to fulfill on the Priority Pass program. Once your enrolment has been processed, Priority Pass will send you a welcome package, Priority Pass card and a list of participating lounges. For details on how Priority Pass uses your personal information, please refer to their privacy policy at prioritypass.com. Once enrolled, Corporate Platinum Cardmembers whose Card account is not cancelled may access participating Priority Pass lounges by presenting their Priority Pass card and airline boarding pass for same-day travel. In some lounges, Priority Pass member must be 21 years of age to enter without a parent or guardian. Priority Pass members must adhere to all house rules of participating lounges. Amenities may vary among airport lounge locations. Conference rooms, where available, may be reserved for a nominal fee. Priority Pass lounge partners and locations are subject to change. All Priority Pass members must adhere to the Priority Pass Conditions of Use, which will be sent to you with your membership package, and can be viewed at www.prioritypass.com. Upon receipt of your enrolment information, Priority Pass will send your Priority Pass card and membership package which you should receive within10-14 business days. If you have not received the Priority Pass card after 14 business days, please contact
Corporate Cardmember Services using the number on the back of your Corporate Platinum Card. Please note, Corporate Gold and Corporate Green Cards are not eligible for membership. Priority Pass non-lounge airport experiences such as airport dining credits are only offered in a few select locations. Select locations are subject to change. 8. Executive Lounges™ by Swissport: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to Executive Lounges by Swissport in Canada. Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s spouse and 2 children under the age of 21, or one travel companion, may enter as complimentary guests. Fees apply for additional guests. Guest must accompany the Corporate Platinum Cardmember. To access a lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible
guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). House rules, terms and conditions apply. Lounge access is subject to availability. Unless otherwise stated, lounge access cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or benefit and is subject to change or cancellation at any time. 9. Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport VIP Lounge: Corporate Platinum Cardmembers have complimentary access to the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport VIP Lounge. Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s spouse and 2 children under the age of 18, or one travel companion, may enter as complimentary guests. Fees apply for additional guests. Guest must accompany the Corporate Platinum Cardmember. To access the lounge, Corporate Platinum Cardmember and eligible guest(s) must show a valid, unexpired eligible Corporate Platinum Card, confirmed boarding pass for same-day travel and government-issued photo identification in the name of the Corporate Platinum Cardmember/guest(s). House rules, terms and conditions apply. Lounge access is subject to availability. Unless otherwise stated, lounge access cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or benefit and is subject to change or cancellation at any time.
10. Toronto Pearson Priority Security Lane: American Express Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers with a valid Platinum Card are entitled to access the Pearson Priority Lanes (“Priority Lane”) during peak airport operating hours. The Priority Lanes are serviced by the Greater Toronto Airport Authority. Priority Lanes are located at select departure areas at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport in Terminals 1 & 3. Access to a Pearson Priority Lane is available to eligible Cardmembers and companions travelling on the same itinerary upon the presentation of a valid, unexpired eligible Card. The name on the Card must match the name on the boarding pass. All passengers departing Pearson International Airport, including those accessing the Priority Lane, are required to comply with airport security and customs screening requirements. Priority Lanes access is subject to change or cancellation at any time and additional terms and conditions apply.
11. Travel Emergency Assistance: This is not an insurance. Costs associated with any out-of-pocket expenses related to your Travel Emergency Assistance inquiry are your responsibility. Services will be provided as permitted under applicable law and must be authorized and arranged by AXA Assistance.
12. Marriott Bonvoy: Enrolment into the Marriott Bonvoy™ program is required to receive benefits of Marriott Bonvoy™ Gold Elite status, and may be terminated by Marriott without prior notice. Marriott Bonvoy benefits are subject to change and availability may vary by property. American Express Terms and Conditions apply. Gold Elite status amenities may not be combined with the Fine Hotels & Resorts program. All Marriott Terms and Conditions apply. For complete terms and conditions of the Marriott Bonvoy program, visit www.marriottbonvoy.com/terms. American Express reserves the right to instruct Marriott to cancel your Gold Elite status if you cease to be a Corporate Platinum Cardmember or your account is not in good standing. Third party bookings through Tour Operators or Online Travel Agencies, including Amex Travel Online, are not eligible for Marriott Bonvoy benefits.
13. International Airline Program: The discount applies to the base airfare of the ticket(s). All ticket(s) are subject to government imposed taxes, fees and airline-imposed fuel, security surcharges and mandatory non-refundable fees. All ticket(s) purchased through the program will have all valid fare rules and restrictions apply. Tickets will only be refundable if the ticket purchased is in a refundable fare class. Airlines reserve right to modify fare rules and program participation prior to booking. Tickets are non-transferable or endorsable. To receive the discount, the purchase of the qualifying First, Business, or Premium Economy Class ticket(s) on a participating airline must be made over the phone through Platinum Travel or online at americanexpress.ca/travel and paid in full with an American Express Card in the Corporate Platinum Cardmember’s name. Travel must originate in and return to select Canadian gateways. One-way travel permitted on some airlines. Available service classes in First, Business or Premium Economy where applicable are subject to airline availability. Cardmember and up to seven additional First, Business or Premium Economy Class passengers must travel together on same air itinerary. Not combinable with any other promotion and may not be available on all participating airline’s code-share partners, i.e., flights marketed by the ticketing airline but operated by its code-share partner. Participating airlines and benefits are subject to change. Limited time airline flash sales and private sale fare offers are excluded.
14. Fine Hotels and Resorts: In order to receive the Fine Hotels & Resorts Program amenities and rates, reservations must be made through Personalized Travel Service from Amex Canada Inc. Payment must be made using the American Express Corporate Platinum Card in the Corporate Platinum Cardmember's name. Room upgrade at check-in is based on availability. Fine Hotels & Resorts program amenities and rates are not combinable with other programs. One special program amenity per room, per stay. Cardmembers may reserve up to two (2) additional rooms other than for his/her own use inclusive of the standard amenities and negotiated rate. The Cardmember must accompany the party as a guest for which Fine Hotels & Resorts program reservations are made. If the Cardmember cancels his/her reservation, the Fine Hotels & Resorts program rates and amenities will no longer apply to any remaining reservation(s). Certain terms and conditions apply.
15. Membership Rewards: Earn 1.25 points for virtually every dollar charged on eligible, enrolled American Express® CorporateCards. In the case of a Corporate Card, participation in the Membership Rewards program is subject to the approval of the Company or other entity in whose name the Corporate Card account is opened. If Company approval is given, Cardmember is automatically enrolled in the Program. The Company or other entity may also cancel participation in the Program at any time. Rewards are subject to availability and restrictions may apply as to when the reward can be redeemed. Amex Bank of Canada reserves the right to terminate the program with three (3) months prior notice. Items submitted to us or recognized by our systems as being purchases or charges for travellers cheques or foreign currencies, cash advances, balance transfers, Amex Cheques, Express Cash transactions, annual fees, finance charges and/or other fees or charges are not eligible to earn points. Redeemed rewards are not refundable, exchangeable, replaceable or transferable for cash or credit. Amex Bank of Canada reserves the right to change the Program Terms and Conditions, including without limitation assignment and reassignment of tiers and associated rights, at any time without notice. 16. Front Of The Line: Purchase must be charged in full to an American Express Card. Subject to availability and to event and ticketing terms, restrictions, verification procedures and fees. Tickets and packages may not be transferable and should not be resold. No refunds and no exchanges subject to merchant's obligations under applicable law.
17. Concierge Service: There is no cost for Concierge consultation, although you are responsible for any purchase and/or shipping charges you authorize. Fees may apply for meetings and event planning. Upon authorization by the Cardmember, Concierge uses its best efforts to source or arrange the purchase of requested goods and services from a supplier. Amex Bank of Canada cannot be responsible for the acts or omissions of suppliers, and cannot guarantee successful fulfillment of Cardmember requests in all instances.
