1. Log in at American Express Travel Online [using your American Express ID and password ]
2. Search airline, hotel, experiences or car hire and book your itinerary
3. Select ‘Use Travel Credit’ on the Checkout page
4. Pay any remaining amount with your American Express Card. Please note, if you hold the Qantas American Express Ultimate Card, the Qantas Travel Credit can be redeemed for bookings of eligible Qantas flights only.
Q: How often will I receive a Complimentary Flight or Travel Credit?
A: You’re entitled to one Complimentary flight or Travel Credit in each membership year commencing the date from when your account was opened. It’s available for you to redeem once you have paid your annual fee and minimum payment on your most recent statement. It must be redeemed within the same membership year and cannot be carried forward to any subsequent year.
Q: I didn't use my flight or Travel Credit last year. Can I get two flights this year?
A: Your Complimentary Flight or Travel Credit must be booked before the end of each membership year. Benefits cannot be carried forward to any subsequent year.

The Travel Credit can be used for 365 days from the benefit anniversary date and cannot be used past the expiration date. To check the expiration date of your Travel Credit if you have not already redeemed it, please visit americanexpress.com.au/travel; log in and click Travel Credit . If your booking is cancelled, and your Travel Credit has already been used and associated statement credit applied to your account, you will forfeit your annual Travel Credit benefit and American Express may reverse the statement credits issued.
